I don't like the iPod touch. It's basically an iPhone that doesn't make calls. I'm not sure how good the battery life is with that anyway.

I'm picky and I like my iPod classic

Battery life is pretty good if you just use it for music. Mine last 3-4 days of daily use.

Of all the things the iPhone does, playing music is way down there on what uses battery. You turn off the display and it lasts for hours and hours.
