Re: Ant-Man (2015)
There is nothing to suggest that such a thing happened in any of the movies or TV shows. It also wouldn't serve a purpose.Comment

Re: Ant-Man (2015)
It's a movie about a guy that can shrink to the size of a bug and control ants with his mind. It's ok for things to not be totally realistic.Boston Red Sox

Re: Ant-Man (2015)
Again, totally misses the point of my "problem" with the movie. I'll wait for someone else to chime in. It's a minor gripe at best, and something I wonder if other fans have caught.Comment

Re: Ant-Man (2015)
I guess I just don't understand the gripe. Your "problem" is in a cinematic universe where people have died and come back to life several times. The aforementioned Phil Colson. Captain America was frozen in ice for 70 years. So was Bucky Barnes, except he came back as a Russian killing machine. Bruce Banner turns into a giant green monster when he gets angry.
My gripe with Howard Stark is that two different actors play him. Even in Iron Man, the videos of young Howard Stark aren't the same actor that plays him Agent Carter, Captain America, etc.Boston Red Sox

As for Howard Stark being played by two actors, well, whatever. We've got the really young version by Dominic Cooper and wizened daddy version in John Slattery. Both play the character well.Comment

Actually 3. Gerard Sanders, John Slattery (Mad Men), and Dominic Cooper (who I like best).Comment

Re: Ant-Man (2015)
I'm glad Kashanova cleared that up. I was wondering the same thing Leon. It's not about the deaths of characters and them coming back to life. It's about the story lines and dates maintaining consistency in a shared universe such as the MCU.Comment

Re: Ant-Man (2015)
Saw the movie, last Thursday and was pleasantly surprised, I enjoyed it. The commercials do it no justice. Though I have to say it's hard to demonstrate the movie through a commercial. It was humorous, action packed and entertaining.Comment

Re: Ant-Man (2015)
Seriously, Marvel pulled off an Antman movie. Who would have thought this could be a movie let alone a good one?
Really enjoyed this movie and wished I seen it in 3d.
Can anyone explain the 2nd post credit scene? Who was that?

Re: Ant-Man (2015)
Saw this and gotta say I really, really liked parts of it and other parts were too offbeat. The movie really does make fun of itself in parts and other parts were very cool. I liked during one of the initial speeches by the bad guy when he used the reference "tales to astonish". Nice touch.
(not a movie spoiler)
Spoiler
Epilogue 1 you could see coming. Epilogue 2 was a nice teaser.
Question though.... at the end when Scott and his friend were talking.....
SpoilerIs there the allusion there that the Avengers want him to join since he took out the Falcon?Last edited by daflyboys; 08-06-2015, 01:39 AM.Comment
