How many Surface / Surface Pro owners do we have here on OS?

I'm considering exchanging the Surface Pro 3 i3 that I bought about a week ago for the i5 4gb 128gb HDD. The SP3 is great as a laptop and tablet, I really like the device. The 64gb HDD is not enough on the i3 model after updates, leaves it to about 27gb and even adding a micro SD to expand the memory, it is too slow.

I even had considered going the 2 in 1 laptop route, since the Surface Pro 3 is expensive, but there are several things I really like about the Surface overall.

I enjoy my S3 w/ Windows 10. Much more than the Surface 1.0-equivalent tablet that I never got around to trading into Amazon, the Acer W700.

wishing i got the i5 8gb 256gb version even 93gb seems a bit too small

Still love my Surface Pro 2. Got the i5/8GB/256GB when it was released and it's still going really well.

Never upgraded to the SP3 because the CPU was the same and the new form factor has heat issues with high CPU usage compared to my SP2.

I might upgrade when the SP4 hits but will have to see what the internals are like first.

Anybody here have a Surface Pro 4...My wife & I are thinking about getting rid of our MacBook Air's, along with iPads and replacing it with a Surface Pro 4. I use Windows 10 at work and I actually like it. My question is, would the surface allow her to run school stuff, such as blackboard?

Looks like it? An app was released this year for students and otherwise it is just a java app that runs in a browser? Never used it myself.

So my wife and I purchased 2 Surface Pro 3 i3 128 GB last night at Best Buy...They were going for $599 each, pretty good deal..

They were $299 each at Staples on Black Friday and the 1st 2 weeks of December.

I think I just saw the same price at best buy in this weeks sales paper

I'd love to have one to be honest but I already have a windows tablet and an android tablet

I got a Surface Pro 3 last year in December when my old laptop died. I absolutely love it. I really just use it as a laptop and it's powerful enough to do everything I need, and even play some games well.

I played rocket league at a friends house tonight using the Steam controller and my non-pro Surface 3. Sure the graphics were poor but that's a pure gameplay/framerate style of game.

Id play it like this on the ps4 to improve the framerate of they'd let me.
