      Prestige is awesome.

I love everything Nolan has done. Inception blew me away and Interstellar is my favorite movie of the last 5 years. I've watched it 6 times and just can't get enough of it. The soundtrack/score of that movie is absolutely savage. Hanz Zimmer is a bad, bad man.

I don't think I've ever had my eyes wider open, glued to the screen, edge of my seat quite like the "docking scene." When that music kicked in, holy cow.

And the ending of Inception, not sure it gets better than that.

      Sorry for my Nolan fanboyism.

Of course as a self-admitted Nolan fan, I have watched TDK, TDKR, Inception, and Interstellar more times than I can count. I don't know all of the lines to all of them, but I'd say I'm close enough to it that somebody can turn to me while reciting with a film and go, "Son, you have a problem."

I don't always just sit down and plop it on to watch it, though. I have fallen asleep to them, had them play while grading, the works. Sit-down watches aren't as often unless I'm watching it with somebody else or it's on TV.

By the way, this article is here to remind everyone how ambitious Nolan remains for a film like Dunkirk.

I pretty much love all of Noalns movies except for The Dark Knight Rises. Glad its a summer flick, 2016 summer has been terrible.

re: Dunkirk Christopher Nolan Project (July 21, 2017)

A bit of an illegitimate bump, but Dunkirk now makes Nolan the highest paid director in Hollywood.

Christopher Nolan will be paid more than $20 million up-front for his World War II movie Dunkirk.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher Nolan will be getting paid $20 million up-front for Dunkirk, which represents a small fortune on its own. However, the director is also said to be getting 20 percent of the gross for Dunkirk...
If this even makes $500 mil, that's another $100+ million in his pocket on top of the upfront salary. Just... wow. I envy this man, and he's been fortunate to have his wife (Emma Thomas) produce for him so he is granted more liberties. WB will let him do anything though now.

I don't do large screen much any longer, but this may warrant it. Anything Cillian Murphy is in, count me in. Top 10 current actor for me.

Trailer didn't up my excitement, but it didn't lower it either. I just love that literally every shot that you see will be an "in camera" experience though, no green screens or CGI.

(NOTE: I know some things are basically impossible to do without those two so I'm sure some is involved, but almost every shot you see will be as practically done as possible, including IMAX cameras being mounted on planes)
