That's even worse. Kick her to the curb and make her an extra on the flash

I wouldn't really say she's going to be an extra on the Flash. She's probably going to be a main character of one of the next few episodes.

Oliver did make the woman he's with on the Island in flashbacks appear to be dead in an earlier episode. Maybe he did the same with Laurel. It's just was odd the way it played out, from going to be fine to all of a sudden instant death. Just my take either way we sha'll see.

I wouldn't really say she's going to be an extra on the Flash. She's probably going to be a main character of one of the next few episodes.

That's basically an extra for her character. She just got booted off a main show that started before flash.

Oliver did make the woman he's with on the Island in flashbacks appear to be dead in an earlier episode. Maybe he did the same with Laurel. It's just was odd the way it played out, from going to be fine to all of a sudden instant death. Just my take either way we sha'll see.

The writing can't be that bad can it? Ok, I can accept that her saying I need you to do something for me doesn't necessarily have to hint that she wanted him to fake her death. But take that completely out of the scene and there is zero way that the physicians knew she was going into cardiac arrest, gathered the cart and ran down the hall before Oliver knew something was wrong and would have come out of the room yelling for help. Immediately while watching it I was jarred at how strangely that scene played out for that reason. My first thought seeing them running down the hall absent of a yell from Oliver was that Darhk returned to finish the job and was restraining Oliver in the room.

The ONLY thing I can remotely think that would make any sense from a scene structure stand point is she asks him to let her die and she does something to herself (which makes zero sense from a story or character perspective)

I can't see them doing another fake out death scene to trick Dahrk after pulling it with Felicty already.

There are a couple of ways they can salvage this move and bring the character back, if they don't take it then I'm out. If the showrunner is telling the truth about his reasoning for making this move then I'm not going to watch a show led by someone with such inane thinking.

I did not want the character to die, but I really hated the "out of the woods" to "seizing and dead" transition. It's like a cheap parlor trick. They did this on Dexter's

I don't even get his reasoning. This is the best way to put another spark in the show...

Really? First lets put FelicitEMO out there, and if that doesn't work just kill one of the JL characters.

I'm confused what the issue is. I assumed she was poisoned or cursed when she was attacked by Darhk. It also makes 100% sense for her to be killed because Lance cared more about Laurel's life then he would his own that im sure Darhk was well of aware of when they started working together

When laurel says to Ollie "I need you to promise me something" they don't show what is said just a panned back shot then right after that she takes a bad turn. I just don't buy she's dead I think she's up to something. I don't care what the creators say I'm not buying it. Just my thoughts.

After watching Arrow since the first episode we gave up at the 16th of this season although we could've stopped some time ago but kept on watching.
From the beginning of the third season it's been a chore to watch this show as it felt like the focus of the show shifted from the (Green) Arrow to Olicity (don't think I could hate that name anymore), it's like it's been Felicity Smoak and friends (feat. Arrow) to me for a while now. That, the lack of an interesting villain compared to Deathsroke, how they ridiculed his character in that episode he appeared on season 3, how inconsistent Oliver fighting skill have been (beating Merlin easily when he cut his hand to struggling against random thugs), and that episodes seem to get quite similar.
So Laurel died. I guess it's a shame since I liked her character as she seemed to get more valuable lately although at the same time she still has been quite irrelevant to the show.

To those who still enjoy the show, I hope you keep liking it and that keeps being interesting. Unfortunately even if the show gets better, I feel it's too late for me to care again.
