Flash has had it's moments of "non-greatness" too, but clearly had a superior season finale.

I never was a fan of Ollie in politics, so the ending didn't excite me.

Darhk was too powerful, but handicapped by writers' conveniences.

Ollie is powered by the "light from Felicity"? (or some crap like that)....give me a break.

Maybe, but I think the best between the two shows as far as consistency is leaning heavily towards the flash imo. I don't think it is even close. To be fair to Arrow it has been on 2 years longer than flash. That part where the two sides are running towards each other just reminded me of TDKR and I just started cracking up. The finale gave me hope at the end as it appears they may be thinning the herd. Show was at it's best to me when Arrow,Dig, Felicity were the core. Kind of on the fence about Felicity now though. Still like the show believe it or not.

No, he was able to counteract and nullify the magic Dahrk has because of all those people who believed in him -- or rather, in believing in goodness. This was shown a few episodes back with the friend of Constantine.

Yeah, I know the magical aspect of it but Felicity was the major catalyst for Ollie to neutralize Dahrk's magic. At least that's what he thought, and he mentioned that in this episode and last week's episode. (paraphrasing-he did not use the word "catalyst")

These last two seasons have been bland, especially this season, its been actually really bad.

Darhk was a cool character but his motivates and story were just terrible. Season 1 and 2 were by far the best this show has to offer.

It's so strange, in comparison, flash has gotten better over the season yet arrow got worst.

It could literally change anything. It could bring Tommy and Laurel back, it could bring Oliver's parents back, it could make the 5 years on the island never happen.

Whatever changes they make on Arrow, just make Felicity the S2 character again. Maybe even slightly S1 too where she constantly had to backtrack everything she said cause it sounded wrong.


But Arrow didn't exactly set up anything to start S5 with. End of other seasons always had some moment which was like a cliffhanger, or something big they could branch off of for the season premiere, so there must be some big change which will end up happening cause of The Flash.

Maybe they'll even find a way to have changes impact Supergirl as well seeing as that show is now on CW.

Arrow Season 4

I have no idea how the Supergirl stuff works, didn't watch after the pilot (just had too many things to watch/do) but didn't they establish when Flash came over that she was on a different Earth then Flash/Ollie?

Superman was severely impacted in the original Flashpoint storyline, do they do that general idea with Superman or Supergirl (probably not). If I was right do they use Flashpoint as an excuse to get Supergirl on the right Earth?

There's going to be many concerns and probably things that dont make sense, but I like that there is a very unknown direction with their universe right now. Just hope S5 doesn't suck, no idea what quality villain they have left to do

Yeah, a different universe and with Superman becoming more involved in Supergirl I'm not sure the Arrowverse is going to take them in. They'll probably just be a standby universe if they feel the need for a crossover.
