Re: Master of None (Netflix Original Series)

Watched a few episodes over the last couple days. I feel like I've seen it already since I watched Aziz's stand up show at The Metropolitan on netflix before watching this. The Show is like a expansion real life scenario of each topic in his stand up routine. Not saying that's a bad thing.

Some of the acting is awkward and bad too. His parents obviously aren't actors but his lesbian friend, who's name escapes me, is pretty bad too. Kind of takes away from the show for me.

When I got to the episode that had the voice actor of Bob from Bob's Burgers I couldn't help but chuckle every time he spoke. It's so weird when the face you've conjured up from a voice doesn't match. Not even close.

I heard Aziz and Alan Yang on the radio the other day talking about the show. They talked about how one of the main writers, Harris Wittels, passed away during the writing. They said he made the show what it is because he was one of the funniest person either had known. Aziz's blog post from the day of his death is pretty touching but sad, http://azizisbored.tumblr.com/post/111613105129

I'm hopping season 2 can keep the momentum and they don't run out of material.
