Again, killing a STARK would only cause further resentment towards Ramsay and the Boltons. Unless he was able to impregnate Sansa and gets her back, having Rickon is the closest thing Ramsay has to an insurance policy against all the Northern houses against him. I don't see how killing him benefits Ramsay at this point in time and I surely hope he doesn't even get to try because **** him if another Bolton deals another huge blow to House Stark.

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 6
Dont the Boltons have a member of every northern house held hostage somewhere, to keep those houses at bay? I thought that was part of the fallout of the red wedding? Or maybe the wasn't a show plot point.
But even so, I don't see how Rikkon dying will be the straw the breaks the camel's back. Rikkon has been "dead" to the north for years now. If Sansa being prisoner at Winterfell wasn't enough, if Robb and his north banner men being slaughtered while under Frey's protection wasn't enough, if Winterfell being disgraced in Bolton banners wasn't enough, Rikkon is a fly on the wall in the grand scheme of things.
I think Rikkon's role will be to keep Jon from outright storming Winterfell with the wildling army. Jon cares for Rikkon, not the houses of the north.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 6
Varys continues to be one of the most interesting characters in the show, IMO.
Every time he is on screen, particularly when he's interacting with Tyrion, is one of my favorite scenes each episode.
The scene with him and the girl who is helping the Sons of the Harpy was great, excellent dialogue.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 6
Got a little dusty eyed when two Stark children FINALLY get reunited and the Stark theme played.
Lots of things are setting up to go down...in the North, in Kings Landing, across the Narrow Sea....Comment

Good episode.
Couldn't help but giggle at the Ramsey scene. They really want us to hate him a lot huh?Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 6
Man great episode. Things are really about to go down now. Some thoughts (I'll spoiler just in case)
Spoiler
When Sansa and Jon finally met up it put a big smile on my face. Finally some Starks meet up again. I've been waiting 6 (7 counting when I read the first book) long years for that. So refreshing. Now with Ramsey's threats to basically everyone, having his brother, and wanting Sansa back Jon has his motivation for the fight and can get out of his post death emo funk.
It was small and who knows what Littlefinger has planned but I'm glad to see the Vale finally get in on the action. You gotta think they will fight Ramsey so that's another solid army for Jon and now they would be coming for the North and South.
Not much going on with the Iron Isles this episode but it was nice the see Theon get back home. Still haven't quite figured out where they play in this yet.
Kings Landing has some good stuff going on as well. I really ****ing hate the High Sparrow. Seriously right now I hate him more then Ramsey. At least we all know Ramsey is a crazy ***, ruthless, piece of ****. But that's just what he is. I don't like him but he is supposed to be hated. This High Sparrow is a condescending hypocritical jerk. I never had much love for Cersi but I find myself rooting for her to use her manipulation to weed these douches out. Good stuff coming I hope. Plus I need more Marjorie eye candy.
Kinda already expressed what I think about Ramsey but that was a solid bit he had. I knew he knew what she was doing but that damn knife to the throat still surprised me. Anybody who played the GoT episode game knows what I mean.
I like any scene with Tyrion so while not much happened it was still good for me and I think sets up some future stuff well.
And last but not least Dany. Man not what I thought was gonna happen at all. That scene was amazing. I do quite enjoy how fire burns off her clothes lol. Now she literally has the entire Dothraki hoard behind her. Plus her Dragons and the Unsullied. I know she isn't going to just wash her hands with whole Slaverys Bay area but man she needs to cross the Narrow Sea and get to Westeros already.
Good stuff all around. I thought they moved things pretty quickly this episode. Can't wait for next week.Comment

I don't think Jon is all that enthused about the Winterfell siege plans. Think he was really looking forward to retirement. Kinda feel bad for him.Comment

Yeah, it sounded like he was planning to keep going South until he was free.........as if the undead army is no longer a concern.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 6
The scene with John and Sansa at the beginning of the episode where she drinks his ale was terrific. For two characters who haven't spent much time on camera together, they had great chemistry. Perfect for the long awaited Stark reunion.
There's so much going on right now, I love it.Comment
