That was more satisfying than Joffrey.

    Much more satisfying.

P.S. Its high time Dany got a damn saddle for Drogon. Not a good idea ridding these dragons bareback (zing!) when she gets to Westeros if you ask me.

I can't believe GoT pulled off an deus ex machina like that and I'm not mad about it. Excellently placed.

And the final scene...yes. So validating.
Yeah for sure it was greatly placed. My gf was going hysterical and I told her don't worry, the back squad is coming.

Also the cinematography was just fantastic. Fabian Wagner is talented and good to know he's also going to be handling The Justice League.

My personal opinion is its a foregone conclusion she's pregnant.

I'm still unsure if she is trying to backstab Jon or not but I'm definitely thinking about it. Guess I'm just not certain what a payoff would be for a Sansa heel turn
I'm not sure if she's gearing up to hurt Jon. I think she genuinley loves him and considers him a brother.

But I think there's something to her wanting ownership of Winterfell.
She was the snobbiest brat of all the Starks. "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!".
Since it all hit the fan, her dad, her brother Rob, Theon and Little Finger failed to protect her.
Men such as Joffrey and Ramsey abused her.
And then she was forced to sit in the shadows while Jon prepared for Bastard Bowl I, all the while disagreeing with his plan.
She even predicted correctly that Ramsey was too cunning to fall into Jon's plan. That he would find a way to have Jon fall into his. He didn't listen and her predictions became true.

So perhaps she's tired of depending on men. They've never done right by her.
And through all of her travels and tribulations, she's grown a pair and has definitely become a strong woman.
I'm sure she's confident in herself that she can rule Winterfell much better than the handful of men who occupied it over the past 6 seasons (Ned, Rob, Theon, Ramsey).

I see what you're saying (and agree with the general idea of Sansa's motivations) but Ned never had a problem ruling Winterfell. He was just not a good pick for Hand of the King being weak in southron politics. Robb never really got a chance, and Theon doesn't count to me, he was never going to hold Winterfell; that was just a pipe dream.

I do think Sansa has gotten to the point where she only trusts herself to protect herself. But I don't think she wanted Jon to die, nor do I believe he will be backstabbed by her. Winterfell is hers by rights and I doubt Jon would try to dispute that. I also doubt she is pregnant. Months should have passed since she escaped considering all the places they traveled. Surely she'd be showing by now? Well, now that I think about it, scratch that. She wears a lot of heavy clothing plus with the way time seems to work in this show maybe she's only been going a couple of weeks.

Jon wouldn't dispute it, but what would Littlefinger whisper in her ear? It's more about perception to Sansa, not reality. She's another puppet for LF. The fact that she kept LF a secret from Jon, let Jon's forces be demolished (forces that would support Jon above all else btw) is not something to ignore.

So who replaces Ramsey as the guy we love to hate (night king doesn't count)? Not sure who's left as a "bad guy" to take the mantle that was Joffrey's before Ramsey. I think Cersi has pretty much had all her power and influence washed away. I think Margery might have a play given that she seems to be playing the game. IDK, just thinking out loud.

The Overwatch themed "Play Of The Game" edits from the battle have me rolling. The Internet is hilarious. The Snow one is great, Littlefinger one is probably better

We still have the High Sparrow and his loons. And there are still the incest child molesting Frey's, as well as Greyjoy's new turd. Which may not last long if he reaches Danny soon.

Yeah I mean they Freys just don't strike me as a threat after losing Riverrun and having awful military tactics....Euron (would need an item he claims to hold magical powers in the books) could be but the iron born are better on the coasts IMO. For some reason I don't see the high sparrow having much sway outside of kings landing..... Of those I think Euron could be the next best thing tho.

Very true, but aren't the Frey's now aligned with the Lannistors? That could be an issue.
