Yup, there were Tyrell and Martell ships in the armada.

Besides, Lyanna told Ned "You know what Robert will do." That rules out Robert being the father. Process of elimination, that leaves Rhaegar.

Last two episodes were probably the two best episodes of a television series in the history of television. Just so much to digest and to me, it feels like the end of Act 2. Season 7 will start the final act.

Have to say...I got a bit misty eyed when the scene cut from the close up to the baby to the close up of Jon. Just awesome editing right there.

The close ups and camera angles, as well as the music in the finale were spectacular. A+++ for the production, directing, and whatever ever else goes into that process. Spectacular television.

You're right about Jon though. There's no possible way that Robert had time to impregnate Lyanna. The war started because Rhaegar stole her. Robert didn't have her yet, he was set to marry her. To me, there's no possible way that Jon is a Baratheon because:

Rhaegar (leaving for the Trident to fight Robert) had his kings guard stay at the Tower of Joy to protect Lyanna Stark. Why leave your most trusted (and bad***) men with a woman who's carrying the child of your enemy?

Ned wouldn't have lied about it if it was Robert's baby. Robert would have treated it like a god, he adored Lyanna. No sense in Ned ruining his honor and the initial part of his marriage with Cat by brining home Robert's b astard son.

There's the theory that the Targaryens bred amongst themselves because other women outside the family couldn't survive the birth of a Targaryen baby. I'm pretty sure there's more accounts of this happening, not just Lyanna with Jon. Also supports the theory that the Mad King is Tyrion's real dad (and why Twyin despised him) and why his mother died.

Just because Jon looks like a Stark (what people are saying is a Baratheon) doesn't mean he can't also be a Targaryen. Each house has a distinct look, and making Jon a white haired and purple eyed child of dragons would just be a dead giveaway. The Targaryen look was so prominent because they had children with each other.

Fun fact I never knew: one of the main ways Weiss and Co. we're able to convince GRRM to let them make this show was guessing Snow's parentage.

This is definitely a possibility and something I'd like to see if they decide not to stick to the prophecy. I'll spoiler the quotes from the book just in case but the prophecy was in the first episode of season 5 as well. Pretty sure it's been discussed here before too.

Ok you guys definitely changed my mind. Jon's dad is not Robert.

GRRM, you funny man....calling the place King's Landing.

That would be sweet, but I think somehow he may still not have it in him to do it even after all she has done to him. He may help lead the revolt which winds up causing her death, but I am not sure he would actually do it himself at this point. Now, perhaps if she was actively trying to kill him and he somehow turned the tables, then absolutely.

I think Tyrion doing it would be more emotionally satisfying than Arya, unless Arya kills Cersei and Jamie at the same time. Tyrion already killed his main tormenter in Tywin, but Cersei is definitely deserving too. Not sure how it will go.

It hasn't been brought up as much but she still blames him for Joffrey's death and as recently as last season was willing to pay anyone who brought her his head. She also tried to have him killed at the Battle of the Blackwater and historically has always been as bad as Tywin was towards him. Tyrion hates her and always has and understands that she's tried to have him killed more than once.

Presumably (my reading of the prophecy) she will live to see Dany or whoever takes the throne from her and be killed after.

Her ultimate role in the game was to get her grandma angry enough to support the queen of dragons.
I actually still think she HAD a plan -- a longer game than Cersei's quicker one -- but her moment of realization that something was wrong wasn't enough for those damned Sparrows. As much as Cersei is to blame, Margaery's demise is also on the Sparrows. Slim as it may be, we've seen people travel REALLY fast on the show, so she might have survived.

Queen of Thorns told the ladies in Dorne that her son, grandson and granddaughter were all killed. That takes care of Margery, her dad and Loras. They are all dead. Shame Loras really didn't get to really show how awesome he was as a knight. In the books he was a thing of legends.
