    Re: Laptops help?

So here I am again having to get a new laptop. The Dell I got was pretty good and worked fine. But the issue was my wife needed a good laptop since she is going back to school. So I gave her that one and now I need a new one.

I was looking for a used one and I think I found a really good deal.

I found an Asus 15.6 inch FHD with a core i5 processor like 2.3ghz with turbo boost, 8GB ram. It's in almost perfect cosmetic condition and I was able to try it out. I ended up putting it in layaway. It was only $200 and gonna get it when I get paid next week.

So do you guys think it's worth it? I believe it's either a 2017 or 2016 model.

Yeah 200 bucks for an i5 is a great deal. I’m assuming your using it for regular use

Yep, just regular use. Web browsing and streaming. I don't do PC gaming so not worried about that.

I been using this HP all in one since I gave my old laptop to my wife and it's absolutely horrible. I can barely use it for regular use. The processor is garbage and only has 4GB RAM so yeah, I figured $200 for a an i5 would be worth it.

yeah i have a bunch of cheapo laptops like that with dual core processors and 4gbs of ram for my employees to use. I dunno how they work on those my goodness but they say they get the work done.

Currently building a custom machine with recycling my old parts of my rig but its still a freakin beast.
