Haha kidding, but I do wonder if they themselves stumbled upon that. Just last week I finally realized Gotham has three characters with the first names Lee, Harvey, and Oswald... yet Batman lore has been established long before the Kennedy presidency.

Yea, I thought the storyline was okay but the acting, the cast, everything else was brutally bad.

I didn't notice any of that but it's probably because I was in a "24 is back" kind of high last night lol. I did like the storyline as well. I wonder when the high wears off if I'll still enjoy it as much. When some really stupid **** happened previously we always had JB to fall back on. Not sure if the new guy can pull that off. We will see I guess.

Side note there are actors and actresses from everywhere in this.
-Miranda Otto was in Homeland last season
-Corey Hawkins is in The Walking Dead
-Teddy Sears was in Flash last season
          -Dan Bucatinsky is from Scandal
          -Jimmy Smits was in everything

Edgar Stiles reference. Good to get that "same universe" vibe from the get-go.

Not calling the guy superhuman yet at all, but I always feared for Jack's life from the first episode. Of course he would live on, but we'll see what connection I have with Aaron and his pals, or if I'll be like, "He's already military-trained, he'll get away with it all."

A Super Bowl commercial referenced seeing the prequel for this in VR. Is that possible to see anywhere online as well? I understand it all looked virtual, but I assume it detailed their kill order.

Link to the Raid video. You don't need the VR. It's just like a first person shooter perspective.

Who takes their wife to the projects for safe keeping? That part cracked me up.

I thought it was funny as well, but I guess he just didn't trust anybody else.

I give them credit for coming out of the gate swinging but I think they went to the whole "You can't trust anyone" route a bit too soon.

I don't mind the notion of taking her "the only place he trusts." I mean yeah it's not safe for other reasons, but as far as knowing the people there and such, I don't have a problem with it.

I only caught the last 30 minutes of the episode on monday night. It felt mad corny, i couldnt take the lead actor seriously. They should of casted a better lead maybe idris elba or someone that could give the role some credibility.

So I watched the first two hours and while it's nice to have 24 back it didn't really feel like 24. I also agree that acting is kinda bad. Maybe once we get used to the characters it will get better. I'm definitely still in for now.

Another awesome episode tonight. That's why 24 is the best. Things HAPPEN.

I don't really care much for the guy who plays Carter. He's overplaying in a few scenes. Some of the others are as well, like Grimes.

It doesn't need to be masterful acting but I'd like it toned down just a little bit.

Anticipation for the next week's episode was always a hallmark of 24 and it's no different this time.

                              I am a rabid 24 fan.

This show is delivering exactly what I want. The acting will tone down at some point (season 2 perhaps after they get comfortable with their characters). It is season 1. But it is pure "24" in pacing, action and plot.

                                I am on board too.

I do like going back and comparing it to the original. I notice Kiefer is a EP listed on the new series.

The break-in at the evidence building was reminiscent of the break-in of the evidence building in the last full season of the original 24 located in New York with the return of Renae Walker and Charles Logan.
