2pac Biopic in the works. Titled "All Eyez On Me"

John Singleton backed out last year because he didn't like how the production company was fueding with his mom but the project continues with a new director Benny Boom.

I hope they don't mess this up because Pac is my favorite rapper and All Eyez On Me is the best rap album in my opinion. A part of me wants this to be better than Straight Outta Compton. Not saying Straight Outta Compton was bad because I really liked that movie and I grew up on NWA especially Ice Cube, Eazy & Dr. Dre but Pac's music hits me harder and I could relate to him more. I hope this movie doesn't suck.

The John Singleton issue is not a good start.

I understand how people loved one of the most influential rappers of all time if not "The" most influential rapper. However there was a lot of issues with Tupac especially when he got out and was under suge knight. Granted Suge was to blame for half of the actions but Tupac pretty pathetic as well. Despite putting out his best records, he was out of his mind. For once I'd like to see someone document him as he was, not as what everyone loved about him.
He had some serious issues by the end of his time.

It will blow peoples minds if they reveal his love for ballet. All the wanna be thugs will cry like when they figured out Santa Clause isnt real lol
But I agree I hope they show when he was a softer well to do person, than just the incredible fall from outside influences.

Anywho, if this is a family controlled film then I fear it'll sanitize some of the more interesting facets of his life.

They should have hired R. Marcos Taylor to play Suge, he nailed the part/look in Straight Outta Compton. He could then be typecast as playing Suge in all movies LOL

They really should have done all they could to get the Suge from Straight Outta Compton. This one looks terrible.

This is the only shot they have of making a better movie than Straight Outta Compton. But it's just generally easier when there are so many moving parts I think... we'll see. I really, really, really doubt they focus too much on his time in Baltimore (unfortunately). Pac went to the School for the Arts... he was lip syncing Parents Just Don't Understand in a duet with Jada Pinkett (crazy coincidence). Pac fans don't want to see that, lol. They'll probably start with his days of wearing dashikis grabbing a verse or two with Digital Underground.

I know Tupac is too big for a BET mini series but I just don't think you can tell proper Tupac story in two hours.

I just hope they do a good job. Pac is my favorite artist I will be disappointed if they mess this up.

This is such a hard line to straddle. On the other end of the spectrum would be to take liberties and embellish the story to make it seem more interesting. But Tupac's story is one that doesnt even need that. If done right, his life was so fascinating, this movie should haul in award season nominations galore. Maybe even an Oscar, for someone.

That's gotta be Tupac's son playing him wow! Also nice to see they got the same actor who played Biggie in Notorious. This looks real good, can't wait.

Enough of 2PAC and the whole west coast gangsta rap scene in the 90's.

Been there done that. I'm just tired of it. All the movies are pretty much the same since everyone some how is intertwined with each other. The whole Death Row/2Pac/Dogg Pound Gangstas/NWA/ thing has been run to the ground.

I don't need a movie again to tell me about 2pac.
