Re: 2pac Biopic in the works. Titled "All Eyez On Me"
Enough of 2PAC and the whole west coast gangsta rap scene in the 90's.
Been there done that. I'm just tired of it. All the movies are pretty much the same since everyone some how is intertwined with each other. The whole Death Row/2Pac/Dogg Pound Gangstas/NWA/ thing has been run to the ground.
I don't need a movie again to tell me about 2pac.Comment

Been there, done that? Run to the ground? The only 90s west coast gangsta rap biopic out is Straight Outta Compton. That's one movie! If anything the Star Wars, Fast n Furious, Pirates of The Caribbean or the new Mummy that's coming out fits what you described but definitely not a west coast gangsta rap movie.

All these videos have one thing in common, 90's gangsta rap in L.A. Which is all intertwined. Trust me I use to be the most hardcore guy when it came to this and buying dvds and learning what happen with everyone.
Tower records back in the day use to have tons and tons of dvds on different stuff from that time period.
Not hating, just burnt out on it. As a kid and teenager I was obsessed with this stuff.Last edited by Bigg Cee; 04-12-2017, 04:16 PM.Comment

Since I live in cali, I have tons and tons of dvds from 2pac, Death Row records, NWA, Dogg Pound Gangsta's, Bloods and Crips banging on wax, Long Beach Rolling 20's Crips, Westside Connection, ETC...

They're mostly music videos or documentaries though and I probably seen most of the ones u seen/saw or owned. Personally I liked Death Row uncut but those 2pac documentaries got played out real quick. But I see where u coming from.
With that said I grew up in the g-funk era and it's timeless to me that is why I want to see the film succeed. Even though I'm from Seattle I was a big fan of DJ Quik, Young Murda Squad, South Central Cartel, Mausberg (R.I.P.), MC Eiht, Warren G and The Twinz, ect. I was all west coast rap growing up. I thought NoCal & the Valley were super underrated then they had some dope rappers too like Brotha Lynch, Rappin 4 tay, Mac Mall, X-Raided, Suga Free, Spice 1, ect. The hypy movement killed it for me though.
Edit: by "killed it for me" I meant it as in ruined it for me and not killin it like "that song slaps he killed it on that verse" lol

Northern California Rap and you forget the man himself, WOODIE. Or the Northern exposure crew. That was gang rap at its finest. Even the police were investigating his music. lol
R.I.P. I had the northern exposure cd

Re: 2pac Biopic in the works. Titled "All Eyez On Me"
Kevin "Real World/Vibe" Powell is suing everyone under the sun for not being consulted. Not in this article, but it's rumored that he's trying to get it pulled from theaters.
Doubt this will have legs, but it's an excuse to go see the movie in the theater before it's too late.

Heard it's not worth seeing anyway.
Even heard it being compared to a Lifetime Movie. Yeesh.
