I was fine with Michelle winning. In the beginning she didnt need to do much, someone said she went 22 days before going to tribal. But that says something about being part of a winning team. I still didn't expect her to get to the end as now she needed to win immunity. Clutch win and coming back from behind to win the final immunity challenge was impressive. Then winning the jury advantage challenge, getting intel from Tai and Aubrey, and making the best pick eliminating Neil.

Overall an average season, but an average season of Survivor is still worthwhile.

When Aubrey beat Cyd in the fire challenge Michelle was mad at Tai because (if I'm remembering correctly) she said "you just gave Aubrey a million dollars". So even Michelle thought she played a better game.

Scot, Jayson, and Julia were all bitter towards Aubrey for whatever reason. Probably because she didn't flip whenever Scot was trying to convince her to and mad that she pretty much controlled the entire game. Cydney was bitter because Aubrey wrote her name down, but hell she had no choice. And Cyd wrote Aubrey's name down too, so it really just makes her look like a big hypocrite.

The one knock against Aubrey would be that she didn't win individual immunity and Michele came up clutch with 2 of the last 3 wins. Other that that Michele didn't really do anything. I found it funny that Jeff was basically feeding her questions at the reunion and all she had to say was "yeah, that's what I did". He even gave her credit for "flipping" at the right times, when she didn't do anything. It wasn't some strategical move Michele made, Aubrey brought her along for a number.

In the end though, Aubrey can really only be at herself though. I mean, she is a "brain" and couldn't figure out that last puzzle? That puzzle seemed fairly simple to me compared to some that they do.

To me Cydney didn't come off as being bitter I mean how could she, she had two side deals..

Watching Ponderosa confirms to me she wasn't bitter..

Aubry would have win if she played her moves up better I think. She ran the game once the women made their alliance. Unless they cut it out of final tribal, she didn't do much to make those points.

I was rooting for Michelle to win simply because I thought she had no chance. But after she won it left a bitter feeling in me. There is no way Aubry or even Tai should have lost to her without a weird jury. If they were looking at the game objectively, I don't see how Michelle finishes anywhere but third.

I honestly think thats why we're all disappointed with the finale.

Michelle was seen in all our eyes as the 3rd wheel that everyone wanted to bring along because they'll easily beat her. But the complete opposite happened.

If you took a glance at the entire season, I'd say Aubry makes the best case to be the winner. Played a big part in making moves throughout the season.

Tai would have been a solid choice too, had he not epically failed to eliminate Michele with his double vote when the rest of his alliance went the other way.

I felt like the majority of jury voters were looking at the rear view mirror and just felt impressed with how Michele won the final immunity challenge as well as the last challenge, so those two victories were powerful ending notes to deciding the winner and was hard, in their minds to let go.

It almost reminds me of the 2007 NFL season. Everyone saw the 16-0 Patriots as the best team in the regular season, but it was the 10-6 Giants that won the Super Bowl. Aubry would have 100% won had she won the final immunity challenge.
