    Chromebook

Ok, my laptop kicked, so I need to replace it, and don't want to spend much. Trying to figure out if a Chromebook would be good for me since they seem like good value, and from my limited time with Windows 10 I didn't like it and downgraded back to 7. Also, I'm getting into teaching, and Chromebooks are big in education now, so it would be good to be familiar with it.

    My concerns:

    - I have an iphone. Is it even possible to use an iphone to sync stuff back and forth, and if so, how difficult?

-Can you use Microsoft Office? If not, I know they have similar programs, but will they create files compatitble with Word and Powerpoint?

Also, this might be related but might not, I have a hard drive in my current laptop I'd like to get data off of. Is it possible to hook it up to a chromebook? And if not what are other options?

This would be for my main computer.

    Thanks

Worked IT in a local school district last year and they were using them as well, especially for testing now.

    NOPE

NOPE, you have to use stuff on google cloud like google docs on the internet. Syncs with your google account

usb like possibly but honestly for what you're talking about you might be better off getting a laptop. These things are more stripped down and thus the cheaper price.
