I know people were ragging about the Rita costume, but I immediately thought she would be tied into the Green Ranger somehow and this reveal just reinforces that for me.

Looks pretty damn good. Never watched the show as a kid. I think I was too old already. I'm sure I'll see this with my son though.

This is one of those movies that might become "cool to hate on" because its, well, its Power Rangers, but I know for sure I am gonna see it and I bet most people who hate on it online will see it too.

That's my boy Earl from "Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl" right? Trailer makes the movie look like a lot of fun. Not ashamed to say I am excited.

By the way, the chick doing the Walk The Line cover is Halsey, and that album (Badlands) is phenomenal. Highly rec

Would have like to at least hear Zordon's voice and see a little more of the Ranger suit. And weird that the kids appear superhuman and not just good at martial arts and so on. But overall, pretty hyped for this, I like that it seems they're going with a much more serious tone.

I'm turning 29 at the end of the year, grew up watching the Rangers though. I remember going to the park at the age of 8 and playing power Rangers with my cousins.

Seeing the new teaser brought back some cool memories and I really like the new tone. It doesn't need to be dark and too serious, but having this new tone that reflects a bit more maturity is awesome. My buddies and I are gonna probably end up watching this opening weekend

My minor complaint is that they have super strength outside of the ranger suits. Not sure how I feel about that. The suits is what is supposed to give them their power.

Agreed. It looks alright, hopefully they keep the sweet guitar riff for the theme...

I watched MMPR from the originals to Zeo, which were the only good seasons imo. I am trying to go in without any bias, because I know in my mind that nothing will ever top the original. I think I am just going to treat it like its own thing and not try to compare it to anything.

Anyways, for any fans of the originals I'll just leave this here. Amazing what they could do back in the day with the actors doing the actual stunts.

I always thought Billy looked like a 40 year old man.
