Watched about 4 episodes of it and then lost interest in it.

Might pick up again later and give it another chance but it couldn't hold my interest in.

EDIT: I just read that Helen Hunt is directing the December 6th episode.
I wasn't expecting a lot (heard it was like Parenthood which I never got into for some reason)....All the depth of characters is great, and then the twist with the past and present makes it really great. Can't wait for tonight's fall finale! We'll probably still delay it a bit, but rarely do we even watch a show the night it airs.

Interesting thing I read regarding peoples viewing habits, basically minute by minute of tv shows:
        http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/mor...a-total-waste/

Obviously the drops are for commercials(BBT especially, look at the drop near the end of the episode, cause many fans know once the show is in its final commercial break,it just comes back for a quick 30 second scene and that's it), but interesting to see just how many people start tuning in at later points in an episode.

A show like Arrow for example, their final scenes are sometimes the best/most noteworthy part of the episode, which often ends on cliffhangers/big moments, and the minute by minute ratings reflect that.

Has anyone watched 'Shooter' on USA? It's TV version of the movie. Marky Mark is even an executive producer on it. Features Omar Epps,Eddie McLintock (Warehouse 13), and Ryan Phillippe as the main character. Pretty good so far.

            Re: 2016-2017 TV Season

Shows starting to return next week. Some premiere as early as New Years day itself. Most of them begin back next week.

Look out for some season premieres also airing. I did have shows like Emerald City(a darker version of Wizard of Oz it seems like), Riverdale(darker version of the Archie stuff), and Powerless(an action sitcom set in the DC Universe), all on my list of shows back in August/September as ones I'd look out for, and all of them are gonna be premiering within the next month or so(earliest being Emerald City next Friday, latest being Powerless in February).

Series of Unfortunate Events is on Netflix in 2 weeks from today. It stars Neil Patrick Harris. Each book takes up 2 episodes. It only has an 8 episode order so far, meaning 4 books covered. There's 13 total in the series, so if they get a full order in the future, I could see the remaining 9 books taking up 3 more 8 episode blocks.

For those in Canada, just check your TV Guides. Even I'm confused at this point as to what it supposed to air on what channel anymore because these Canadian channels are just switching things around way to often, some shows airing at diff timeslots than USA. Shows that air on same network in USA,back to back timeslots, end up being on completely diff networks in Canada, it's just a mess right now.

Lasted less than 5 minutes with The Mick. Just brutal.

I can't imagine how many great shows would have been cancelled if everyone stopped after the first 5 minutes of the Pilot. One that comes to my mind is Breaking Bad. My god did that show start off sooooooooooo slow.

True...Having said that I'm probably going to give The Mick more latitude because I'm a big "Sunny" fan.

Anyone else use a TV reminder app? I use one called TVShow Time. You set what shows you watch, and it sends you a reminder 20 minutes before it comes on. Very handy if you are horrible at remember what days and times your shows are on.

Looks good and Goggins is one of my favorites.

Joe Manganiello was originally cast in Goggin's role but had to leave because of a health issue. All the shoots with Manganiello's character had to be reshot, which amounted to almost two full episodes.....wow.

I've been using it or others for years. Helps you keep track of what episodes you have watched also.

It has arguably the least believable premise of all time lol, but I'm all in favor of unleashing Kaitlin Olson so I'm pretty much locked in

Surprised more people don't have a reminder setting on their box itself. All of my cable boxes I ever had, has a reminder setting on a show that you can set. It doesn't remind you 20 minutes before, but it does send you a reminder 1 minute before.

For most part though, I just set my box to record all new episodes of entire series, and every Saturday or Sunday, I'll just go over the week on my TVGuide and check out the channels I watch and see if shows I watch are on,and if it's new episodes, just to make sure my box will(or won't) record that weeks episode.

It's why I now have a "Bob's Burgers rule" on all TV shows. I watch the entire first episode and a few after that, and if I'm still not interested, then I give up. It all really started cause of Bob's Burgers cause I gave up after first 10-15 minutes of the show, but re-watched it a week or so later, and ended up liking the show.
