Hopefully this season ends up being good. 16-17 weren't great, but weren't horrible either. I was probably one of the few who actually liked Shelli/Clay duo(I usually hate the typical showmances in BB). And obviously great comedic moments by John too. Still can't believe how crazy Vanessa was. But since BB13, I've only enjoyed 14,16,17. And even then,16 and 17 specifically,wasn't exactly over the top great.


Reading the rumors for what the twist this season is, I really hope it does work out.(Spoiler on what the twist is rumored to be)

It's rumored to be the BB14 Coaches twist. A twist I actually didn't hate, but the part I did hate was how they did what literally everyone feared they would do,and that was abandoning the twist just weeks into the game. If BB stuck to that twist for the entire season,it would've been great.

I hope for once,they do stick to a twist. How many twists in BB hasn't been abandoned/failed real early on in the game? Twin twist is only one I can think of. Look at all these failed/abandoned twists over the years...BB Takeover,MVP,Coaches,Duos,Saboteur, and so on. All of those didn't even last till the jury.

No Battle of the Block this season. That's a good start. I hope for a good season. This has been a summer tradition since season 2. Looking forward to Wednesday night.

I was like, "damn this guy looks just like Cody". I see his brother has made his way into the house. Hopefully he won't be as dumb if he makes it to the end like Cody was.

Every comp does get shown, if nothing is shown, there's either no have nots, or hoh picked them.

Have-nots need overhaul. Only reason it existed was cause of the high school cliques theme, but bb has stuck with it since. They need more importance on the slop/cold showers/bad room punishment.

Like the people on it, are safe from nominations. That'd be interesting strategy. Put yourself on slop,to stay off block for week. It won't be an every week thing, and would only involve 2-3 people at most a week, but still better than the generic/unimportant to show on TV stuff they got now.

Or similar to that, only people off slop are hoh,nominees and comp winners. So you still have the havenot comps, but once someone gets put on block,had their team lost,theyd now be off slop. If they get taken off block,theyre back on slop. If replacement nominee was a have-not all week, they'd now be off slop.

My Pre-game HG assessment:
Paul-Could see him being in some big alliance and being the guy who forms a smaller one within it.

Victor-In a quick showmance that fails real quickly

Corey-Potential to be one of the more likeable people in the house and HGs will get along with. Maybe making it far in the game.

Paulie-Even being related to a past BB houseguest, don't think it's really gonna be something that'll make him a big target. Hopefully he plays better game than Cody.

Bronte-Will probably suck at the physical comps,but could surprise people alot in the mental ones.

Bridgette-Could see her getting a fair amount of DR time and being part of the "Johnny Mac" styled random scenes.

Zakiyah-Hopefully not another typical BB stereotype. Compares herself to Jordan,so hope she's more like that.

Jozea-Again,hopefully not another typical BB stereotype. His fave HG is Frankie though. I didn't hate Frankie,but just hoping this guy isn't too over the top.

Glenn-He has a good list of fave BB houseguests, but his age and everything will probably separate him from the rest of the HGs and could be early target/big floater.

Michelle-People already billing her as "Nicole 2.0" lol. I actually hope she does turn out like her cause she was one of my faves from that season.

Natalie-Sounds like someone who will probably end up sleeping lots of the time in this house and be boring

Tiffany-Vanessa did play a good game,only real negative was how crazy/forgetful she was. Hopefully her sister isn't as crazy.

People I think I might like: Corey,Paulie,Michelle,Tiffany

Lol ya, close your eyes and you'd swear it was her talking.

Guess there's no coach twist. More of a BB11 cliques styled twist. Didn't even recognize Frank, I actually thought Steve for a moment lol. Davonne returning though...why? She's not very memorable. If they needed a female returnee, there's many better options out there,even in past 3-4 years alone.

After 1st episode, Paul is already person I want out now. Bronte could get annoying fast. Team names are just stupid and horrible, but I hope Frank's team goes far and Davonne/Paul's team I want all gone. Sucks that Nicole's team is losing someone! 75% chance someone I like is leaving! Glenn better lose, I like rest of that team,but based on editing so far,Corey has been on fewest times from that team,hopefully not a sign of losing. Nicole,Frank and James I'm adding to my faves list.

It was funny hearing Paul talk about how he loves breaking down people who think they're smart and then seeing him have a brainfart counting people in the house. I don't dislike him yet, I'll have to give him more time to see how I feel. He's horrible in competitions, though. He's gotta learn how to not be so aggressive and work with his team. I think he might be an interesting character for the game.

I don't really dislike anyone so far, which is a good sign. I'm sure that'll change soon, though lol. And how are only two people in the house noticing that's Vanessa's sister? She's a slightly prettier version, but the resemblance and mannerisms are pretty unmistakable.

Like Maj, I like a lot of people on Nicole's team. I really hope that Glenn doesn't get the boot. I'd like to see him try to make his way through the game a bit.
