CBS press release reveals info on the Battleback comp. All the comps will air in a special episode on Friday July 22 at 8pm.

My BB rankings after week 1(tv week 1,house week 2):

1.Nicole(hoh,put up pawn nobody suspects shes with)
2.Paulie(working with vets,while still being on good terms with newbies)
3.Davonne(completely changed her game from last season,its working so far)
4.Frank(won the roadkill comp,put up big player,no blood on his hands)
5.James(part of the alliance in control at the moment)
6.Corey(part of Nicole's team,and getting closer to her than most)
7.Paul(playing too hard too early,but won veto and saved himself)
8.Zakaiya(aligning with the vets and taking backseat in general so far)
9.Tiffany(sitting back so far,but game could be unraveling soon)
10.Michelle(aligning with power players early on,flying under radar)
t-11."Spy Girls"(all haven't done much outside of that alliance)
14.Victor(hasn't really done anything yet,minus arguments)
15.Glen(he got "Jodied")
16.Jozea(his mouth got him in trouble and he never realized it)

For once, I want the big alliance to stay together. Every season alliances form and people always find stupid ways to break it up. Lets see what happens if the 8 pack sticks together till final 8.

Just wanted to say I'm so glad Nicole is back this year. Always had a soft spot for her (even with her nasally voice).

Also Messiah was a moron. Being the loudest goon in the house week one is a no go. So odd that the contestants claim to be big fans of the show but every year a loud mouth goes extremely early for being a loud mouth. Come on Jozea!

Enough with the twists already! I bet they only thought up the Battleback competition once they knew the housemates were getting rid of Jozea. They will do anything to get him back in for ratings.

As much as I was happy Derrick won(playing one of best games of BB ever), I still wish it was Nicole/Donny in the F2 on BB16.

And she's one of the rarer casting decisions BB has made. The females they often cast are catty,have lots of attitude,overly religious,want showmances, stupid,confrontational,crazy, and/or just suck at BB. She doesn't fit any one of those descriptions,which is refreshing to see on a show which follows the same old model for casting the past number of years.

Best female casting choice BB has made imo. Really hope she wins. Would have no problem putting her on the next tier below the Will,Boogie,Derrick,ED,Dan level of great winners.

Actually,I think it's the opposite of that. They do that battleback challenge to prevent "fluke win" back into the house. Jozea will beat Glen, but whoever gets evicted this week(whether it be someone like a Paul,Paulie,Vet,ect) I think would beat Jozea. For all the years I get mad at BB for basically rigging things in the fave of the fan/production fave players, I hope they do it this year. F6 of Nicole,Frank,James,Davonne,Paulie,Zakiya.

So as many suspected, Jozea wasn't a fan of BB. Victor mentioned it in the house,and a tweet was found from a fashion designer on twitter awhile back, that Jozea was supposed to be on Americas Next Top Model,but missed the cut after the producers decided to just go with an all female cast.

They have literally millions of people from all over applying to be on BIG BROTHER, stop recruiting rejected applicants of other shows and choose BIG BROTHER FANS.

Everyone likes picking on Nicole lol. Can't blame them, she's the one fun girl in the house and she never takes any of it seriously and can laugh at it while it's going on. Funnier watching that scene before Frank jumped in. She was having trouble getting on those pool log things for so long,and then she finally got on two of them,and Frank just comes in and does all that out of nowhere.

Too bad BB doesn't show all the random fun/prank moments of the house.

Am I the only one that doesn't care if cast members are fans of the show? They all want to win money or fame, why does it matter if they're long term fans of the show? I enjoy it the same either way

Cause people who aren't fans, don't know how to play the game, and don't have any kind of respect for the game. Most fans want to see good gameplayers on TV, and real people playing. Not abunch of people who don't even know what HOH is, and are trying desperately to audition for another TV show, trying to use BB as a stepping stone, acting like once they're on BB, they'll be some A-B list celebrity.

Fans of the show actually want to be there,and have been dreaming of being on the show for years. They have better idea of how to play the game, and will just be 100% real on the show and not just some annoying,fake personality. Past few years, look at the people like Nicole,Donny,James,Zach among others. They were fans of the show,and were being 100% themselves on it. Ones like Jozea,Austin,Victoria for example,were just using it to get noticed and launch some kind of post-BB career.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I always feel like the contestants on these shows are actively trying to get on any of the TV reality circuit shows. They just wanna be famous, I feel like the actual number of diehard BB fans that have actually been on the show is rather low, the same with Survivor. These people just want to be on TV, the serious followers of the show probably don't fit the TV demographic stereotypes so they just select whoever is ideal for TV.

furthermore, if they cast an entire show of "superfans" wouldn't that also be a stereotyped cast?

although I have to admit a full cast of superfans would be fun to watch

idunno how much that would work for ratings, but it would be interesting to see everyone outsmart each other

Based on how Survivor and the 1 BB season was like when they had the entire season of returnees(in other words,people who were fans of the show,who willingly came back to compete), I think the real fans would have some good,competitive gameplay.

Even though it's reality tv, it's obviously treated way often as scripted reality with fake acting. Which is why it's always nice and refreshing when you see people who legitimately want to be there,and are 100% real.

Just feels nice seeing more "relatable" types of people on TV.

It'd be like WWE though. Fan faves are typically the ones who get the most tv time/bigger roles. The people the fans typically like are the real/genuine players on the show. Look at Jokers rankings for this season for example. I think it's something like Nicole,Frank,James in top 3, ones like Paul,Jozea in the bottom. Obviously fans prefer seeing the relatable fans player over the recruits.

But if Nicole, Frank, and James are brought back as fan favs wouldn't it make sense they'd have higher approvals? Paul and Jozea have been way too abrasive, the others mentioned (I noticed you didn't mention mama day) are more subtle and appealing.

I actually like Da'Vonne though lol

That's prob another reason Donny,Nicole are 2 of my fave players in BB history. They're not abrasive or anything. They're the most like the type of people i like/wish more people in my life were like that. Seriously, it's sadly rare to meet people like that. I've seen way more girls closer to a Rachel,Bronte personality than a Nicole,Jordan type one. So I root for the players I'd like most irl.

Day is another one I like so far this year too. Maybe it's just cause she's aligned with players I like, but she's playing smart game too. And like others, isn't fake or a non fan. She more than most players, tells it how it is.

Lol, it's late for me too. Part of this I'm going back and forth with, with one of my friends about. Been going on for a few days lol.

But it was Natalie who said that. Aka the girl most in front of a mirror on the live feeds. Another turnoff. She's in front of a mirror so often/ getting "dolled up", and saying things like that.

Nicole is almost never around a mirror,wears Jean overalls lol, and is one of those girls you'd actually wanna hang out with cause she's the opposite of that(meaning she's not superficial,conceded,moody, rude)
