Re: Big Brother: Season 18
I completely agree. These contestants and the ones in recent years are horrible players. Remember when Diary Room sessions were a roast of contestants and it wasn't all this contrived garbage. I'm so sick of "blood on my hands", "big moves" and naming an alliance every 5 minutes. The last good season, in my opinion was with The Bragade. They were a true alliance and they were funny.
I'm a sucker for this show and I will continue to watch it, however it's not what it's use to be.
I also can't stand people saying I don't want to do this but it's what the house wants. If the house wants something that you don't then do not do it, be prepared to play the damn game.
I wish there was a way for Bridgette and Frank to stay in the game.Last edited by Sinner; 07-31-2016, 10:03 AM.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
I agree so much, especially with the "blood on m hands crap" so basically you're saying you came in to do nothing with playing Big Brother and skate by.
I also can't stand people saying I don't want to do this but it's what the house wants. If the house wants something that you don't then do not do it, be prepared to play the damn game.
I wish there was a way for Bridgette and Frank to stay in the game.
Then you have to put up players who are in your alliance so they can automatically win HOH, but then the other side of the house and even your alliance may try to throw a vote to get to play in the HOH. If enough people throw a vote, then the pawn goes home. It could make it really interesting because the HOH wouldn't want to put 2 enemies on the block and risk giving one of them the HOH.
They won't do it because it won't make good tv not having a HOH comp.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Only way to eliminate people playing the way they do now would be the quit reading vote totals, that has its downside as well but people would be more willing to flip if they didn't know if it was a 5-4 vote or a 9-0. People could also vote for who they want as opposed to following the house so they don't become a target (like when Tiffany went out Frank and Bridgette wanted to keep her but figured they should play it safe not that it mattered at all ultimately they were still the targets).
Downside would be the times people do flip (few and far between anymore) it would be harder for people to figure out and in return target that person. So definitely not perfect by any means.
Would also create more paranoia not knowing if people were lying about following through on votes or not.Last edited by IlliniM1ke; 07-31-2016, 04:44 PM.Favorite Teams:

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Unanimous vote is the hard thing to ever eliminate. Don't know how possible it would be,unless they introduce something like the old school Survivor aggregate totals. Meaning if a tie happens in a vote, the tie gets broken on who had most votes cast against them in the season. That'd eliminate a power of the hoh, which means it'd be more tempting for half the voters to go against the hoh.
Not revealing vote totals is probably one of the other solutions, cause while the house won't know if it's unanimous or decided by 1 vote, the paranoia might be worth it. Who'd want to be a pawn, or have proof that as a pawn, that everyone had their back. A pawn might stay, but for all they know, they literally came 1 vote from being gone.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Luckily for me, I know someone who watches it live, so they couldn't find it,was asking me about it,and I found out that golf coverage delayed it by 40 mins. If not for that, I wouldn't have started watching till later, and recording might've messed up.
Lol, 1st world dvr problems.Comment

I'm not sure I saw the one with the Brigade. My favoriteson were 7, 8, and 10 if I remember them correctly (.
The one with chill town (the first chill town season I was too young to really get the show I think, but I vaguely remember that one being good too), the one with evil dick, and the one where Dan won). I stopped watching for awhile around season 12 and then started passively watching again a few seasons ago because reality competitions like this are a guilty pleasure but this one has really gone downhill since I started watching again.Last edited by CC; 07-31-2016, 09:22 PM.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Always set your DVR for an extra hour (at least) for Sunday's BB. Especially, with the NFL preseason right around the corner.

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
I thought Nicole learned from watching Derrick on BB16. Never put yourself on the block. Sure, she got lucky when she was backing down that Paulie just threw himself on the block, but that whole stuff reminded me of BB16 when they tried getting Derrick on the block as a pawn. Almost same type of scene too with the group in the HOH room, flat out saying who has been on the block already. Everyone had been on the block already, and he was the only one never nominated, but he got out of being on the block still despite that.
Really no reason to get Bridgette out, I don't get why she's even labeled a comp threat. Sure, she won a HOH and veto comp but the HOH comp was pure luck, and Paul threw that veto comp that she won. Not saying she can't win,but they're giving her way too much credit.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Totally agree about Bridgette, I mean she will do good in an endurance comp and she has some fight in her but her game was Franks game. This guilty by association isn't always the best way to go.
If anything she's proven to be very loyal which is a rarity in BB. Use her to get out some of the "players" word used very loosely cause there's some stupid people in the game. Just be nice to her and let her know whats going on and she's happy. Seems to be a very nice lady...no need at all to go after her.
I would love for Dae and Michelle to go out before her at leastLast edited by Sinner; 08-01-2016, 08:17 AM.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
People are always afraid to get someone out of the house. They dont want people to get mad at them.
They should give 1 extra vote for each HOH you win. Unless you are in danger, it's just a do nothing game now. Too much floating and not enough action.

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
It's a bit early to speculate, but if Bridgette and Paulie stay up on the block after the Veto comp, the girls would be absolutely stupid to not vote Paulie out. Stop being worried about who you're going to get to hang out with at the jury house and put yourself in better position to win the money. I'm dying for some real game/power moves.XBL & PSN: zasbury25Comment
