Totally agree. I was honestly shocked at how incompetently the entire battle was shot/presented. It was just a mess. I get that the actual battle itself was supposed to be chaotic. That doesn't mean the way you show it to the viewers has to be so disjointed as well. It was just very poorly done, IMO.

This season had its awesome moments, but overall, it's not one of my favorites. The pacing at times was just too slow. Some of the extended episodes seemed to be catering more to the advertisers than the dynamics of the story.

And I think why I didn't enjoy this season as much is it focused (especially in the second half), on the stories of Sasha and Rosita...two characters I really don't care about.

Touching moment when Jesus and Maggie find Sasha in her altered state.

I think the show is just running so long now that I'm starting to lose investment in just about everybody. The whole Sasha thing wasn't bad because at least there was some payoff (like Glenn) but as a total narrative, there needs to be some kind of endgame.
"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."

I wonder if they'll create an endgame storyline. From what I understand, there isn't one in the comics. This cycle is getting old.

Does anyone? I mean I specifically dislike Rosita. Sasha was ok but she's very generic and I wasn't the least bit bothered by her fate. My wife sad I was sort of heartless but honestly, not true, the writers just made her so...forgettable.

I think that's a big part of why this show isn't doing as well in most people's minds..the writing doesn't make you care. I mean I still watch and I still find it interesting but at this point I would like to care a little more about it all if you know what I mean.

I fear this show is heading the way of Lost, but for different reasons..

They really need to wrap this up but they won't-not in the foreseeable future.

I think that is the problem, and also the reason why most shows tap out in 5-6 seasons. These days its tough to captivate people for a long time, even with a brand new super fresh innovative premise.

I watch the show not expecting much, Im not so invested that little things bother me like how easy or uneasy some people kill.are killed, etc. Its a story, ill watch it. I sometimes miss an episode, and ill watch it on monday or tuesday night.

There are some people who read the comic books and are super judgmental of the show, and I get that......But I always just feel like, its sunday night, its a show to watch, it doesnt suck, and I can suspend reality and take it for what it is for 12 hours a year.
