The first two episodes were kind of slow as they needed to setup the story, but things have certainly picked up. Just finished episode 4 a couple of minutes ago and this is getting good. Very cool show.

Easily my favorite Netflix show, right there with Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

Watching this show was just so enjoyable. Will probably do a re-watch soon.

Season 1 is probably a solid 9 out of 10 for me

I still need to watch Daredevil and Jessica Jones. House of Cards and Narcos are my favorite Netflix shows, but this is looking like it's on track to join the list too. It has a really cool retro vibe to it that I like too.

Some of these are a stretch but here are some comparisons to late 70's early 80's movies. Especially ET, Poltergeist and Nightmare on Elm Street.

This really didn't feel like a show to me, its an 8 hour movie and I hope netflix keeps making them. It didn't feel episodic at all and the way they told the story was like a cinematic experience. They don't have to make a 2nd season but how can you not want a sequel to a classic?

I have also no doubt that the Duffer bros are gonna get snatched up by Marvel or DC after the success of the show.

Easily one of my favourite shows of all time and certainly one of the best on Netflix right now.

Finished it. It was good. Dark as ****, literally couldn't see anything, but it was excellent. I can't wait for the soundtrack to be released, that was my favorite part.

But...welp.

Binge watched all 8 episodes in a day, that's when you know it's good, and I only have done that with a few shows.

Telling everyone about this show - I got 5 people at work to watch. My aunt and uncle. Going to re-watch it with my wife (her first time). It was just so good.
