Perfect pairing of song and movie scene thread

Thought maybe this might be a new idea.... what do you think is one of the best pairing of a song and movie scene? Now, of course not talking about someone in the movie depicting the actual artist and either singing or lip syncing one of his or her songs, but something that fits and perfectly augments the movie scene.

Here's one I've always thought fits that description:

Dude GREAT topic. I love music in movies. I'll have a few to post about but my first thought is

Crap I gotta find the link

A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night is the movie

Song is "Death" by White Lies

    Link incoming....

Does the official score count, or we sticking with just third party soundtrack songs, like just songs from actual bands and whatnot?

I only ask because the "docking" scene in Interstellar is one of my favorite scenes of all time and a big part of it is the Hans Zimmer score just driving the scene masterfully.

        Example:

Spoiler for the film, advance warning

Basically like any song from any Quentin Tarintino flick. Mr Blonds torture scene in reservoir dogs set to stuck in the middle with you leaps to mind. So does all the songs in pulp fiction.

Gotta pick one and post the vid. Also, when I finally saw Reservoir Dogs and heard the Steeler's Wheel song in that scene, I just didn't get it. And I absolutely love that song...it's a boss groove. But this is all subjective, of course.

I'd say no as it's not in the spirit of the thread. The composers for those scenes are watching the action and developing something that goes with it versus (whoever) determining that a certain track goes with a particular shot scene.

Do opening titles that use soundtrack songs work too? If so I have a couple there.

I'm partial to this scene/song because I loved this movie when I was younger and I still love this song/album/band quite a bit. I think this is a pretty beautiful song and the way it kind of pops in and then out in the middle of this scene always felt perfect to me

Ummm..... an opening title that maybe has a scene in it, but not simply adobe effects type graphics.

Here's another good one that I won't embed for obvious reasons. It's the part in Boogie Nights where the Commodores song is playing. https://youtu.be/s9siMXbuc5o

Yeah, I actually looked at the two I was thinking of and they weren't as great as I remembered LOL! Hence the Malcolm X choice above.
