Just saw KISS because my buddy had free tickets. I was skeptical about 70 year old dudes jumping around in clown makeup but they absolutely rocked it. They put on an awesome show.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Reverend Horton Heat and The Blasters, Pershing Square, downtown LA. This is the third time I've seen The Rev in the past year. He always kills it live, definitely worth seeing if he's in town.www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

I think my last show was Foo Fighters concert back home in San Diego, think it was at SDSU actually, and it was awesome."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

I don't go to concerts like ever, but the last one I went to was Billy Joel at AT&T Park last year (first appearance in SF in quite a few decades).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Last concert you been to?
Others I can remember are:
- Piano Man
- My Life
- Uptown Girl
- The Entertainer
- Scenes From an Italian Restaurant
- Big Shot
- She's Always a Woman
- You May Be Right
- New York State of Mind
- It's Still Rock & Roll to Me
- The Ballad of Billy the Kid
- Keeping the Faith
- No Man's Land
- Sometimes a Fantasy
- Vienna
- Don't Ask Me Why
That's probably only half the setlist too. He did a couple of covers here and there, and conjoined some songs as medleys.
As far as live performances go, Piano Man was magical. He got the crowd to turn on their phone lights and wave them, and even one part when he had the crowd sing the chorus really just felt like all of San Francisco was together as one unit for a brief moment in time, no other worry in the world. He's good, and even though getting up there in age still could put on a great show.
EDIT: I was disappointed however that he didn't play The Longest Time or In the Middle of the Night.Last edited by Blzer; 08-27-2016, 09:48 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Last concert you been to?
Pat Benatar/Neil Geraldo sharing the bill with Melissa Etheridge.
I didn't realize how talented of a guitarist Etheridge is, wow.
In the mid 90's I saw the Piano Men tour with Elton John and Billy Joel. Billy was more the entertainer vs Elton. Billy knew Richard Marx was in the audience and he did one of his songs. Don't get me wrong, I love Elton's music, but, after each song, he would get up from his stool and flex his muscles to the crowd and not have much banter between songs.
Billy talked to the audience and this was at County Stadium, the old Brewers stadium.Last edited by roadman; 08-28-2016, 09:05 PM.Comment

Re: Last concert you been to?
I saw KISS for the 5th time in my life (first time was 1997) on their Freedom To Rock tour in Moline, IL earlier this month. I had floor seats with a buddy and it was great. They sounded better then the last time I saw them and the entire show was amazing from start to finish. Paul flew right over us on his way to the back stage to play Love Gun which was probably 35 feet from us.
The opening act was Caleb Johnson from American Idol a few years ago. He wasn't bad and reminded me of a young Meatloaf.
Really fun night and seeing KISS never gets old as they are my favorite band.GT: Herkyalert
