I wouldn't mind seeing Scotty and Howard make a return visit, either.

Wow, Hitchins went quick, and Ressler doesn't even have to feel guilty about it.

I like Christine Lahti but she wasn't on enough anyway.

          Re: The Blacklist Season 4

It was a good double season finale, but why reveal that Red is Liz's father only to throw a big wrench in the works right off the bat? So I guess the bones are Katarina and Red is somehow responsible for her death?

There will be enough roadblocks handling the fallout from Hitchin's disappearance, Red trying to become liquid (as opposed to illiquid, LOL), and Julian Gale becoming even more of a headache. Why make more drama for newly found father-daughter Red-Liz? Like there isn't enough simply because Red is a notorious criminal and Elizabeth is an FBI agent?

I was never fully on board with Mr. Kaplan's new direction although it produced some great moments.

Hitchin's death might be a way of sliding Henry Prescott into Red's cleaner position.

I totally misplaced the fact that Prescott was still an option after Ressler killed Hitchin. I really was thinking Gale was about to take him down. And good call on the cleaner position, JayBee.

I started to dislike Mr. Kaplan by the very end. She. Just. Would. Not. Let. It. Go. Should have she? Would you let it go that the man who shot you is willing to make amends? Maybe not... but she didn't even take Red's out with the island, which really confused me. She said she didn't want to do it because she wanted to protect Liz instead. She can't do much of that when she's dead, now can she? Unless she feels her contingency plan with Katerina's bones will somehow "protect" Liz. We'll see.

And it's strange that Liz is going to be forgiving of all of her feelings toward Red when she didn't do much of the same for Alexander Kirk when she thought he was her father. Not the same kind of man in either way, but with her last little monologue it seems hypocritical either way.

I binge-watched the last four episodes these last two days. I couldn't imagine watching most of this end all stretched out once per week. It would have gotten tiresome. It was much easier this way for me. Now onto Season 5! Probably the last one as well...

Didn't Kirk kidnap baby Agnes for some medical procedure? That might not put Liz in a forgiving mood.

Sure, but I forget the entire timeline. She had a gun at his head the minute they were on a boat together, when he already had revealed she was his daughter. Did he kidnap Agnes before or after that?

Plus, I was just saying that Liz's ending monologue pretty much pronounced "unconditional love of a bloodline." She clearly did not feel the same way with Kirk at any time during their run.

Let's be honest though...she and Red have developed a relationship over the past 4 years and he's been there for her on multiple occasions. She didn't know Kirk really at all.

I said as much a while back, but it's still profitable for Sony, and with NBC owning a 25% stake in the show and getting license fee concessions for agreeing to go a fifth season you never know.

We can see the drama building for season 5 already.

The bonding of father/daughter vs Tom the hubby coming back to bring that relationship to yo yoing again.

I'd agree with that. I'll have to rewatch her scene with Red is all. I know she kind of mentioned feeling anger, hatred, etc. which all naturally comes between a father and daughter, and she rhetorically asked if he thought this information was going to make her leave. Only thing at the time I thought was, "Well based on your reaction with Kirk... well... yea."

Haha I'll give her a pass for sure, I just thought it sounded a bit backwards to the last time that kind of news was revealed to her. It felt so much better when Red had that look of relief on his face when she hugged him. It was really a great scene. Makes me wonder if Bokenkamp always planned for this since Season 1.

Unfortunately this can all crumble based on the end of the finale, but for the time being I like everyone being in a slight bit of solace. Kind of like how Tom redeemed himself with Liz, I'd like to see some moments of happiness between the characters, and for a moment we just might get that.

We watched 3 in a row and that was nice last night.

Interesting with Katerina (we assume)...I wonder exactly what the exact secret is, and if it's more complicated or not.

Not sure who the "big enemy" will be now though...Kabal again? Just Red/Lizzie/Tom?

Will Tom start driving Mustangs exclusively again? Inquiring minds want to know!

Quite surprising that character Julian Gale will not be returning for season 5.

I'm not broken up by this as they have enough moving parts already.

Wow, that's Marco in Bloodline. The hair and the Andrew Dice Clay expressions in Blacklist threw me off.
