I am somewhat disappointed in how this mix turned out.

Absolutely stellar acoustic performance of Darkness Keeps Chasing Me, on top of a Manhattan rooftop:

This girl is a tremendous talent. I don't know if the AGT judges realize what they had in front of them when they first heard her. She sees notes, lyrics, and arrangements literally on the fly. I mean this girl actually gets music, like her mind does things with one tiny finger that the majority of today's artists couldn't dream of doing in their entire discography.

Here is Grace at home and just interacting with fans on Instagram as they watch her assemble songs from their ideas:

        <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VgHBGSZKc0c" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I've written like one song in my life, and it's crap and I can't quite refine it... and there is a second song in the works and has been for like 15 months. She like completes a song in ten minutes and she's all, "Okay next!"

Bask in this, y'all. She is not even sixteen and is already taking the nation by storm.

I think he means because Simon Cowell didn't think the Spice Girls were very good and didn't sign them.

He's always said it's his biggest regret.

Definitely respect your opinion. Preacher Lawson was a fantastic comedian (EDIT: Wait, I think he was on the year after now that I am recollecting), The Clairvoyants had a great act (though reading about how they do it kind of takes away the fun of their mystery), and Jon Dorenbos was a great surprise with strong charisma, though I'm glad a magician was able to win it this year. I thought last year should have gone to Diavolo, but Darci was a strong young act and it's good to see ventriloquism alive and kicking with her taking up the reigns for many years to come.

I think that's the same thing with Grace, though. Mainstream music today has a new form and it's one that is trending toward talentlessness stinking up the airwaves. I'm not calling them all talentless, but anyone with an autotune, some beats and a catchy throwaway line can make a platinum hit today. Grace has talent in her bones that only bleeds through her; others who try and recreate her will be lost in the shuffle, yet she will inspire many to break the mold of what is today's music through her growing into more and more popularity.

Does she deserve to have the lead role in a Disney film? That's totally up in the air at this point. Did she deserve to win AGT? I don't know, but at the same time I'm sure happy that she did win. I'll continue to spread her story, fame, success, and material so long as she breeds such excellence though. Hell, she makes me want to buy a ukulele, and I am full-bore guitar all the time. For her though, this is just the beginning.

Grace has a new single out called Stray, and it's incredibly good.

Live performance of Stray. Probably even sounds better than her studio recording, knowing that this is just raw Grace and her band.
