I need to rewatch, but my take away from their "relationship" was that it's basically Harry Potter/Voldemort "neither can live if the other survives" type thing. I think it was the doctor who described it that way, but I'm not 100% sure.
It was a fun ride, but the movie didn't' really start for me until 45 minutes in. The podcast angle felt shoehorned in in-order to"reawaken" Michael.
The baby scene was an eye-roller for sure.
Does the grand-daughter take after Michael now? I thought I saw a gleam in her eye with the butcher knife in her hand at the end.
