Awesome episode. Yara is a real chick magnet. I worry about what Cersai has up her sleeve for her and Elaria.

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7
So is the army of Dorne and House Tyrell lost at sea as in completely crushed.
Where exactly are the Unsullied and Dothraki hiding out at? They can't be all at Dragonstone. That island looked completely deserted when they arrived. Just curious where are they hiding and feeding and housing an army of that size?Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

But I think Yara's fleet carried the Dorne army and the House Tyrell army if that's the case no one is sieging Kings landing. How were the Dothraki going to get to Casterly Rock?Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7
I thought House Tyrell had their own ships. Also, I'm not sure on the timing and whether everyone sailed off in different directions at the same time from Dragonstone. This should be cleared up for us next week.XBL: Mean Greene

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7
I really like the start to this season, but I just have to say on the flip side the writing from season 1 compared to this season is far superior. Anyone else fell the show is overtly taking liberal stances on the issues of the day and throwing it in as cheap dialogue that doesn't matter?
Perfect example is in ep.2 where blondie is talking to the light goddess and there was the line about the prince - and she says oh I'm not a prince, and her right hand woman says 'oh the translation is a bit wrong, the phrase is really gender-neutral' .... you get the idea. It happens enough in the show where I just roll my eyes and think - why?Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

ANYWAY, all my claps have to go to my man Grey Worm.He is an inspiration to all men! Phew, Missandei!
We've never really had a sea battle on GoT before, and what we got was fantastic. Euron's ship (The Silence?) really looked dreadful as it rammed into Yara's and we finally, finally, get to see some of that fabled Euron crazy that he has so much of in the books. Theon jumping ships faster than KD thoMaybe Gendry can save him from the ocean?
I really hope that's not the last we see of Nymeria. Like I said a few posts ago -- put some respect on those direwolves!
Who else is hyped to see Casterly Rock? I'm still hoping we get to see Storm's End and Highgarden before it's over, no matter how slim those chances may be.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7
The Tyrell army is still in the reach. Randall Tarly said as much when he was speaking with Jamie. That sea battle probably took care of Dorne and their forces for the rest of the season tho.Moderator

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7
I thought during the strategy discussion, the plan was for Yara's fleet to go to Dorne to pickup their army before starting the siege on King's Landing. They hadn't reached Dorne yet by the time Euron attacked them, so the Dorne army should still be intact, right?Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7
Yeah, given how the meeting went down the Dorne/Tyrells didn't even know their armies were used so I don't see why they would've brought them along. I assume there's a large part of the army still in Dorne.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7
You're right, the Dorn army is still intact. Only part of the plan that is a go is Casterly Rock.
Also looks like Lady Tyrell is going to lose some bannerman so that will weaken her army. It's going to shape up to be a war of North vs South and the North will be right in the middle of The White Walkers and the South.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7
Don't hold on to too much hope - an interview with the crew after that scene said the Direwolves take more time/effort/resources to do than the Dragons and we know which of the two are going to be more important to the rest of the story, sadly.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7
That would make sense, but how do you get a Raven to Euron? I think he just caught up to the the Yara's fleet.
The series is really starting to separate itself from the books at this point, be interesting to see where this goes.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
