Re: Game of Thrones: Season 7

    Great Battles on this show:

    Battle at the Blackwater
    Massacre at Hardhome
    The Battle at Castle Black
    The Battle of the Bastards

The Ambush of Greyjoy fleet (not sure what the name of it)
and this last one, (Ambush at Red Keep maybe?)

Personally my favorite was The Battle of the Bastards. The way it was shot and the animosity of the two sides was so great.

It's a little strange, they had to go around King's Landing to get to the caravan.

How could you resist a show of force on the way home, doing a lap around kings landing, maybe scorching a couple of token outposts becase you can.

Whatever the feeling, you can tell by their meeting in the tunnel that they still aren't really all that close.

She was following Jon's advice. "If you use your dragons to melt down castles and burn cities, you wouldn't be any different. You would just be more of the same."

Dany was wanting to take her three dragons and burn the Red Keep down.

Jaime should have listened to Robert from season 1. Never fight Dothraki in an open field.

I'm a different note with everything That's happening in the south I wonder if the Night King's army is going to make it to the Wall by the end of this season.

Though the gold will probably end up at the Iron Bank and the Lanister debt will be paid, It will not matter. With how badly the Lanister army was defeated, there is now way the Iron bank will back Cersei. They make smart bets and the Lanisters are not the favorite to win this war.

I think that was only a very small part of the Lannister army. As they said just before the attack, the army was spread thin, and I think that was just the tail end.

That was the bulk of thier forces. Think back to last week when they took Casterly Rock. Grey Worm asked the dying guy where was the rest of them.... Screen cuts to them marching on Highgarden. Let's not forget the Lannister Army was at war with Stannnis and Robb in seasons 1-3 as well. Now obviously they left some men in Kings Landing.

Not to mention as far as we know of the houses sworn to Highgarden only House Tarly has switch allegiances.

It was only the very end, the tail, of the army. They mentioned as much in the show. Most of the army made it back to Kings Landing already with the gold.

Yeah GJ, for some reason I thought it was the tail end of the convoy of wagons, not the personnel but IDK anymore.

                            Yea man that was awesome.

Huge props to all the massive pyrotechnics that went into that battle. The stuntmen were amazing as well (guys burning, horse riding archers, etc). Such an amazing scene when all is said & done. It'll go down in history for sure.

That video explaining all the logistics going into that scene was just as entertaining as the scene itself. Need to watch that scene at least two more times.

With being one of the best war scenes in the series, there has got to be a better name of it than the "Loot Train Attack". How about "Raid at the Reach"? Or "Ambush at Roseroad"?

I don't really think he knew they were coming and if they ran I'm sure the Dothraki would have caught up soon, same with the dragons.
