    Bill Paxton dead at 61

TMZ and others are reporting that he passed away due to "complications from surgery". Very underrated actor. Loved him in True Lies, Aliens, Tombstone, Twister and many others.

    Too young to die.

Sounds like he had heart surgery and suffered a stroke post-op.

I loved him in Apollo 13 too.

Total shock-he was the lead actor in the TV version of Training Day, which has already aired episodes.

            RIP Bill.

                Saw the first episode recently...

I was pleasantly surprised and ready to add it to my "must see" list...

He really played his role to the hilt on that one...

                RIP, Mr. Paxton...

Man, I thought Paxton was only in his early 50's at best. Definitely an underrated career.

I saw him on agents of shield. He is in my top 3 list for the shows top villains. Even had a scene with Samuel L Jackson.

I'm not interested in the training day show, but I have seen commercials airing like crazy for it. They still got episodes to air. Wonder what they do now.

I really loved his work and he was one of my favorite actors. Always made a movie that much better in whatever role he had.

One of the most underrated and genuine guys in Hollywood.

                        He will be missed.

                        RIP.

He was great in Tombstone and in Hatfields & McCoys. Also liked his John Garrett character on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

What pisses me off even more is that the Oscars were on last night and they never even gave him a proper tribute like everyone else. This is Hollywood and im sure they had plenty of time to edit the video tribute they showed. Them not doing it felt wrong to me.

So awful to hear this, I despise a lot of Hollywood but not Bill, he seemed like a really nice down to earth guy. One of the few good guys who had actually made it in a very difficult place to succeed. He will be missed. My wife really was saddened as she's a huge Big Love fan.
