This may not matter too much for many of you but Robert Osborne IS the face of Turner Classic Movies and now he's gone 
He died early this morning or last night (the announcement didn't specify) Mr. Osborne along with Canadian classic movie host Elwy Yost were the two grand masters of classic film to me as they both taught me a lot about the classics and gave me the love of Old Hollywood that will stay with me til the day I die. Mr. Osborne always had a dignified air about him but he was never a snob. He had such an infectious way of talking about the old movies he'd present.
He will be truly missed.
