love JP, like but don't love lost world but it has grown on me over the years. JP3 I used to like but not much any more. JW was easily my 2nd favorite felt more like a sequel then the other ones. Not sure what they can do now that isn't going to be either terrible or to much of the same thing.

Some of the CGI looks really, really bad... and by that I mean it looks unfinished. I do hope the next few months can make the difference in the final touches. Rest of the CGI looks fine to good. I guess I probably just miss the "less is more" days of the earlier films, or again the use of animatronics (though I think we're going to get several this time around).

Don't know why I watched the trailer though, it probably showed too much... unless it has other acts that they aren't showing, which would be cool.

That all being said, I felt this gif was extremely necessary to make (unfortunately 256 colors can only give us so much):

I am with you on the less is more. But we grew up in that era of movie making.

Hell......just imagining the Great White shark attacks in Jaws was incredible. The camera work, the music, the screaming. Pure terror with no special effects to speak of for most of the movie.

That was film making.

Ugh....never been a fan of the plot since it was first rumored and now has come to fruition....just no.

I was excited when all the talk was this one being more dark and sinister and scary....totally didn’t get that at all from this trailer.

Having said that I’ll still see it because I’m a huge mark for anything JP....

Well for myself personally, I always asked how they could make a sequel because the park would not be able to re-open. I was just hoping they weren't going to do something where dinosaurs were part of our military or something.

I'm somewhat okay with this evacuation plot. Right after Jurassic Park III came out, I wrote a short story of a JP4 (park of an 8th grade English project) that was nearly the same deal, but I don't think it was a volcanic eruption or anything of that sort. I also think it was about harvesting the eggs to retrain them and start over (kind of like what Pratt's character did with the raptors in JW).

Don't know where this one is heading, though. Possibly a breakout on the mainland like The Lost World.

Yeah, premise as presented seems pretty shallow and stupid, but we'll see how they execute it. I really liked Jurassic World, they've got my trust for now.

I'm excited. Loved JW, really enjoy the characters, and this looks just as fun.
