The wife and I have really enjoyed it.
Reese Witherspoon is a trip as she finds ways to create drama in her rich, privileged life.
Nicole Kidman (who still looks amazing) is another stay-at-home mom with twin boys and a doding husband. She's more down to earth, but her husband, Alexander Skarsgard, is a control freak who gets violent at times - at which point they have angry make-up intercourse.
And Kidman seems to like that.
Then there's, Shailene Woodley (Insurgant) who plays the young, single mom, who's traveled to Monterey looking for something (this is her dark secret too).
The show centres around the crime, but really, it's about a bunch of rich, white snobby women who have nothing better to do than make drama out of nothing because they're so bored with being rich and having everything a human could want.
