Didn't read any posts in the thread to avoid spoilers but was curious haw this show turned out? Was on the fence about it (lot's of other shows on my plate) but now that season 1 has ended I could binge the whole season rather quickly. Is it worth it? Thanks guys.

I think it's very good and currently the best cw hero show going right now imo as far as story/development. My only hang up is the costume and there's not much that can be done there as it seems on point with the comic..

Just got into the show and love it. Especially Krondon playing Tobias Whale, one of the best tv superhero villains ever. Something about that voice, just straight boss. If you haven't checked out Krondon's music before, check it out, dope westcoast rapper.

Watched this on Netflix this past week, it may now be my favorite CW show over the Flash! Yea its a bit corny at times but overall, excellent show and I love Tobias, he's a great villain.

Edit: I actually think what really helped the series was it being a short 13 ep season, didnt feel bloated like Flash, Arrow and Legends feel.

I definitely agree, 23-24 episodes is just way too much and you have to fill it with crap villains and stories.

I really love how they handle the Metahumans on the show and the villains they seem more real and more willing to do bad ****.

This Markovian storyline has dragged on too long imo. The ASA stuff is really starting to get boring.

Also I think Brandon is working for the Markovians.

Yep, it's continually getting better since the first few set up episodes of season 1.

Bill Duke was a manipulative one here but there are a few things here that could provide a nice twist at this point in the story but I'm not sure how many episodes they have left.

I just wanted to give a shout out to this show which aired it's series finale yesterday. IMO I thought this was the most consistently entertaining CW superhero show during it's run. Very well acted across the board from it's lead down through to the core supporting cast(He is a scumbag in the show but I loved Tobias Whale). It had it's corny sections just like most superhero shows but the show always felt more grounded than the other offerings dealing with real life issues with compassion and respect. Loved the music and the writing for the most part. This season was probably it's weakest out of the series as I think they made some poor casting choices with new characters along with storylines (I'm sure COVID played a big part in how they had to structure things). Despite this, I really appreciate CW giving a show like this a shot. thank you.

I thought the first 2 seasons were great but the last 2 kept getting worse as they went along. Didn't like the parts where there were no black lighting and there were way too many episodes like that. Struggled much like all the other CW shows when they tried to expand the main characters.

Pain killer may get a spin off.

Just got back into this and watched the episode Painkiller, he has been one of my favorite characters on the show and my goodness he was badass. Really wish they would have went along with a Painkiller series but it was axed by CW.

Really like the dynamic between Khalil and Painkiller, almost gives me that Banner and Hulk feel.
