As far as I understand it, the crowds on shows like this and The Bachelor for example are pretty much forced to conform to what the producers want or they'll be kicked out.

It's also possible that the people in the crowd simply don't know about all the sketchy stuff with Raven.

Sucks we can't get true reactions all the time. Sometimes they do seem to let fans just go at the HG(like Christine in BB16 and a couple HGs in BB15), but their new setup lets them put whoever they want in the crowd(the old format, the crowd was behind Julie so you could see the faces of everyone in the crowd). Many times I've seen former BB houseguests in that crowd.

BB Canada they got much bigger crowd sizes and crowds seem to get away with a fair amount. Even post-game interviews people can get an idea about how the game went when seeing how crowd reacts to them and comments on certain HGs. HGs in the house even hear the crowd at times during live shows.

I'm actually surprised this has never happened before. Almost 20 years of BB and no comp has ever been delayed? Based on how the backyard was set up, I wonder if it was that ballpit challenge. It looked like that under the sheets, but that comp almost always happens during double eviction. Then again, that slip n slide comp was always an HOH comp until this season, so maybe some things are getting changed up.

This. He's played everyone, so well, he deserves it. It likely won't end up that way again.

Sad to potentially see Alex and her golden globes go this week though.

at some point someone has to knock him out right? they can't be that dumb, all they do is listen to him and follow everything he says, do they realize he's playing for his own game and not theirs?

Forget trying to going after him, they haven't even mentioned his name when talking about pawns! Like he's not even an option to them. They are scared to even mention his name haha. I just don't understand how anybody can be throwing anything at this point... unless you're Paul of course!

Question..if he doesn't go on the block and wins how would you rate him against Derrick? Would it go against Paul compared to Derrick cause of the stupid people around him?

I think Derrick had a little more to deal with in other people trying to play.

Pauls would be like a poor mans Derrick. Paul would be one of best puppet masters in BB history, but Derrick at least went about his in a more respectful manner while playing the season with better houseguests. This season is just a slap in the face to competitive gameplay. Not to mention the HGs personal attacks and fake rumors spreading is disgusting(more recently, read what Alex had to say about Kevin/his kids). You can't get expelled for making comments that'd get you fired from any job? Whoever is in charge of BB needs to bring in new producers/casters and also re-write the rulebook.

But this season will be remembered for nothing else except the sheep and Paul. At least in Derricks season the HGs did have a brain. HGs this season basically need to ask Paul when they should breathe lol.

Also, how exactly was Christmas cleared to compete in that HOH comp? Not that it impacts the game in any way, but a comp which involves bending down and racing each other down a lane, how exactly is someone with a broken foot cleared to compete in that? Surely this one was rigged by BB right? Because if even 1 race happened, she'd definitely finish last unless a HG flopped worse than a soccer player.

That HoH competition was one of the more remarkable things I've seen on Big Brother. I seriously can't believe how willing everyone is to just go along with what Paul wants.

Lol, Alex actually asked if she should throw the veto in a week she's on the block with her best friend!? These people just suck.

All this just leads to Kevin on the block........ He's the only hope for a likeable winner. Sure, Paul easily played best game of season, and most one sided probably in BB history, but it's nowhere near popular or likeable. If he did this with a better cast it'd be way more impressive, but right now it'd be like Curry beating a Lebron-less Cavs in the finals.

They keep showing Alex as being so confident, usually when they do that it signals a blindside, I'm kinda happy it didn't play out that way because in my mind it was clear she'd somehow go home just from the overconfidence displayed.

As much as people find the season boring and Paul controlling the season to be laughable, was this actually the single best played week in BB history?

He literally choreographed the HOH comp and let someone with a broken leg win a racing comp, had 2 targets put up on the block, won the veto, took down 1 of the targets he wanted on the block, brought that target over to his side, and then decided where every single person voted in the eviction in order to put all the heat on the HOH and another houseguest.

Crazy just how much he's controlling this season. And to top it off, Christmas/Josh were against Jason/Alex and voted to evict Jason, Alex wins HOH....DOESN'T nominate either of Christmas or Josh lol. But Ravens exit from the house...She walks out of the house crying, but the second she goes on stage, she's not crying and is somehow doing a cartwheel?

This episode in general was so rushed. They didn't show a single bit of gameplay did they? No acknowledgement of the major and controversial fight in the house(which involved some real nasty comments).

But the news everyone cares about....Celebrity Big Brother! It's about time they did that! Forget about this season, just move on to a better one! They were really teasing people alot at the end. The 'Revengers' trailer, followed by Julie quickly dismissing it as the announcement, then she's like "Expect the unexpected. Were you expecting Big Brother next summer.....Well it's still on. But next winter is Celebrity Big Brother!"
