Disney has found their leads for the live-action Aladdin.

Mena Massoud will be playing Aladdin, Naomi Scott will be playing Jasmine, and Will Smith is going to be Genie.

No word on who is playing Jafar, but they are looking for a big name actor.

I'm guessing they're going for a slightly more serious take on the Genie because I can't see Will Smith as being crazy out there like Robin Williams' vocal performance.

I think someone like The Rock would be great as Jafar but he's super busy with other projects and he would completely outshine everyone else.

Out of these new live action Disney adaptations I think Aladdin is the one i'm most looking forward to.

Dont like the way the Genie looks in this just something about the way he looks seems off but we did only see him for like a second though. I saw some one say this about Will smith has the Genie and thought it was funny.

I think in tone he's good but the actual design isn't inspiring but we only saw him for a few seconds and in a rather dark scene too.
