Definitely has a chance with Titanic but no way it passes up Avatar especially with Deadpool and Solo coming out this week and next.

      Re: Avengers: Infinity War

I honestly don't know if it will pass Titanic. It still has to make 450 million to pass Star Wars. Then ~200 million after that to pass Titanic. And then another ~500 after THAT to pass Avatar.

I'd be fine to call it the 3rd highest grossing movie ever.

But let's look at the absolute insane number Titanic made.

2.2 billion dollars. Back when movie tickets were a lot cheaper than today. Incredible.

That being said, I've seen Titanic way more than any other movie, easily. I've probably watched it at least 30 times.

In actual Avengers news, some casting stuff for the future. In spoilers just in case.

        Spoiler

And this one is solely just an interesting theory I read.

Getting Gamora out of the soul stone should be the focus of the next GotG movie.

I think it would get lost in the shuffle if it was part of the plot of an Avengers movie imo.

Rumor is that that’s exactly what’s going to happen. She’s not guaranteed to “come back to life for Avengers 4.”

Watched this with my kids this weekend.
The last Marvel/Avengers movie I watched was the first Avengers movie.
To say I was lost is an understatement, lol.
But my son's loved it. They understood everything going on.

On travel for work this week. I can either hang at the hotel or see this again for $5. That’s a tough one ...

$5 well spent. Even better the second time around.

So since Sunday 5/6, I binge watched the entire Marvel cinematic universe so I could go see Infinity War. Finally finished that up this weekend and saw Infinity War this evening.

Following this movie: I require a hug.

This isn't Lost, they have a real plan....I have faith in Feige and everyone. They know they have to transition to a new generation/phase too, so you can't go winging it.

I gotta think they have a basic template for 10ish or more years of movies that they could adapt and change (obviously) based on if something flops, but I can't see any Marvel movie flopping (Ant-Man kinda proves that, being the least known property, along with Doctor Strange perhaps).

They could probably introduce Snail Man and it'd make a billion dollars lol
