Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 8-9-18

based on the Manson Family Murders and Helter Skelter looks to just be the working title.
Margot Robbie to play Sharon Tate. Brad Pitt Jennifer Lawrence and Samuel L. have unspecified roles. looks like filming to begin next year and released in 2019?
excited for more info on this, though the subject matter scared the bejezus out of me as a child.

As long as they don't glorify Manson and the lot..... all very, very sick individuals. Only wondering how it'll be handled because after all it's Tarantino.

It'll be glorified until everyone dies in a massive gunfire.

While he hasn't managed to come close to Pulp I think most of his movies after that have been pretty damn good. Only question is where does he manage to work in tasty beverage?

I'm sure after a night full of binge killing, one gets quite thirsty.

If Q uses the song Helter Skelter for the soundtrack, I hope he uses Motley Crues cover over the Beatles original.

I remember watching the original 2-part series back in 1976 and was shocked by Steve Railsback portrayal of Manson. I was a child then, and was scared ##$$less of his performance.

Looks like this on for July of 2019, add Leonardo DeCaprio to the cast

I think the Tate/Manson thing may be a smaller part of the overall movie.

He has surpassed Pulp with Inglorious Bastards and Django Unchained IMO.

Pulp was great but those two for me are his masterpieces. Especially Inglorious Bastards.

My parents took me to see Jaws in the theater in 1975 at the tender age if 5 years old. I lived and grew up in Miami Beach.

My mom did not let me swim in the ocean for the next 3 years and I was hooked on horror movies for the rest if my life.

I still remember the experience to this day. And the Alex Kitner attack was simply terrifying to me as a 5 year old boy.

                      Awesome stuff.

August 9, 2018, exactly 50 years after the murders.

Al Pacino nows joins the star-studded cast.

The film centers on a fading western TV star named Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double, Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), who are both trying to find their place in 1969 Hollywood — all while Rick is living next door to actress and eventual Manson family victim Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie). I wish the Manson Family would get the same fate as the nazis in Inglorious Bastards.
I dont need historical accuracy from Q but I do love his ideas on revenge.

Since we're on the idea here - I'll add one more of those movies from that era that scared the crap out of me: the original "The Fog" - to this day it freaks me out. I remember watching "Helter Skelter" as a young kid - yeah, you can't unsee that!
