I guess I could write it off as the intensity, but living in Vegas I'm maybe just not ready to watch so many people get shot in a TV show.

Finished tonight. Still in the honeymoon phase but this is my favorite Marvel Netflix show.

What a great series. They finally did the Punisher justice. It's pretty obvious who the villain will be in season 2.

Even though I liked Punisher in DD season 2, I had my doubts on whether his character could really prove interesting enough to carry a solo series. He was essentially a human version of The Terminator in DD. They proved me wrong..Jon B owned that role in the same way that Jackman does Wolverine. I can't see anyone else playing him. They did a great job humanizing him with his interactions with his war buddy Curtis(?), and with Microchip and his family. His nemesis did a great job as well.

I'm surprised to see so much love for this. I think Bernthal plays the character perfectly, and the show ended on a really strong note, but I wasn't blown away by the season as a whole.

Finally got some time in this last week and finished The Punisher. So good. Jon Bernthal is The Punisher. He plays that part so well. His acting is top notch. The girl who plays Madani is solid and I loved Micro. It starts a bit sluggish but once it gets going man is it a fun ride.

Posted this on the Neflix thread but felt I had to repost on the actual Punisher thread too. Next day and I still love how well done this show was. Now on to Jessica Jones S2 hopefully sooner rather then later.

Bernthal is phenomenal, especially as the Punisher. It starts slow but the last two episodes are great. I'm excited for Punisher S2.

I'm going to have to give this another look, I just couldn't get into it and lost interest after a few episodes.

It's a slow burn at the start but really picks up steam towards the last third of the season. Well worth it in my opinion.

Agreed. The last two episodes are great if you can make it through the rest of the season.
