Best In Show: Star Trek Deep Space Nine

Think hard, Deep Space Nine had a lot of regular characters that were basically in every episode.

Re: Best In Show: Star Trek Deep Space Nine

DS9 is definitely my favorite Star Trek show, and the cast of characters is one of the key reasons. So while it lacks a transcendent character like Spock or Picard, its depth top to bottom is second to none. The only regular who never quite gets there is Jake Sisko, but even he pitches a gem in "the Visitor". It the first female character I liked in Trek with Kira, the only decent child character in Nog and later on added Worf, which is like stud team picking up an ace at the deadline.

As for my favorite character, I'll go with Dukat. Best recurring villain in all of Star Trek bar none, with actual depth and complexity. Great character arc.

I don't watch Star Trek but I want to be included in case the next show up for votes is something I've watched.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

This was pretty hard. Odo and Quark tandem was great in this series. They both acted like they didn't each other or anybody else, but in reality, they cared about other people. Garat was the same way. He was a mysterious character in the beginning, but in the end, you came to discover his longing to return home to his people and how he was wrongfully exiled.

quark, but just by a little.
you could easily persuade me to change my mind over just about everyone on the list.
ds9 deserved a theatrical release 2 hour movie.
