Just checked his IMDb page. Didn't care for Austin Powers to see Goldmember, and any parts of Swing Vote that I have caught I do not remember. The guy is more legendary by name alone compared to that of his cinematic roles, in my book. He has always just been Timon to me.

As a POI fan, I acknowledge that, but the nature of that show was the Computer God/Overseer aided by digital cameras everywhere...not that they're not everywhere now.
No I know, that's what I was saying. The extreme version of something got me to say: "Okay, now I'm on the constant lookout for that." But I think that's a given that they have to have security surveillance on that kind of place, right? I mean, that sounds about right to me.

Some poorly written parts of this episode, though:
      • This is just my opinion, but that was too easy of a getaway for Stern from the museum. Not to mention getting his hands on that coin so easily. Maybe I'm just nitpicking a bit too much there, because I'm sure Liz and Red have gotten away with undercover work much more easily.

      • Evidence rooms must have surveillance cameras. That is an absolute given. If they're going to bother showing us that Stern is going to loop a surveillance video feed from the Mint, you might as well do it twice.

      • Liz, I know you had to stuff the rag quickly when the police first came inside, but when you made your exit you should definitely consider apprehending it again, if not at least using the garbage disposal.

      • And come on Liz, you aren't simply just going to steal the rag, swap it out with another one! You would just make yourself look more suspicious after you've been personally informed that rag was going to be ran for DNA. And you didn't wear gloves entering in the key code or grabbing the file? For shame.

As far as very well written moments, Liz's large picture plan was clever, and I loved the transition from "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" to showing Liz finally ridding Navarro's body.
I commented on each one of these as we watched it last week...when she went into the evidence room WITHOUT gloves I couldn't believe it. It's a great show, but sometimes they really ask us to suspend belief (I've already ranted about the travel, but this episode had that as well. The Denver Mint is being robbed and Harold ask Ressler/Navabi to get there...come on.)

I might have said this already but it's like they have a teleportation device.

I don't think your nitpicking about any of those things but The Blacklist has many times been laden with story conveniences that belie logic. It's a fun ride though.
The room probably doesn't have a camera, but there probably would be one on the door and/or officer checking in/out.

Fun episodes as long as you have the "it's Blacklist" filter and ignore these questions. Same as Scorpion, which is MacGyver on crack and so unrealistic yet enjoyable.

We are glad to be done with the Tom/Liz stuff and all that...that was getting old IMO. This part of the season has been better and looking forward to how it goes.

The two had onscreen chemistry but the writing of their relationship slid when Tom got his short-lived Blacklist spinoff.

Exactly...Earlier on they were better. Just don't think I could handle much more of Tom going off and being crazy, Liz going off and being crazy, followed by "awww agnes is cute we're such a family" type stuff.

Plus in general the show is better as the main storyline keeps adapting and improving...

Nathan Lane was awesome in the last ep.

Ah, the Red-Liz dance that at times gets exasperating.

Megan Boone makes a statement that I can appreciate but cannot directly comment on in this forum.

Blacklist looks good for a renewal and starts back this Wednesday.

I haven't seen last night's episode, yet, but I just caught up with the last two.

Brian Dehenny (sp) can be on the show anytime.

Agreed with the dancing of Liz/Red, but that is part of the chemistry they've built up.

I thought I would miss Tom(Ryan Eggold), but the show is built around the dynamics of Liz/Red

This recent episode was worth it just to have Spader and John Noble in a scene together, despite the fact that Noble's "Blacklister Skills" are a stretch.

I know, I went in and said: "Hell with the dramatic irony, why on Earth does Keen trust this guy??" But I think she had to let him in just a little bit in order to get what it is that she's looking for as well. I mean she never stated they were related, but she gave him quite the nibble as well.

By the way, wasn't Aram supposed to be trained to work in the field? I've seen him drive in a couple of tasks and such, but they never really confirmed whether or not he is now "trained" and feeling more comfortable going out there with others. Plus we haven't seen him shoot or engage in a foot chase or anything.

I remember an episode where he wielded a gun or at least I think I remember. The bottom line is he is too talented at what he does to throw him to the lions.

And we get a Aram working in the field show.

                              Tom who?

This episode had so many side attractions going on and it works.

So my mind must have been somewhere else from the previous couple episodes, because I thought that black guy was working covertly with Damascus and fully against Keen. I didn't put two-and-two together that he did not realize Damascus was Tom's killer.

I was wondering why we were letting Keen trust him for so long. I guess it's because he was a trustworthy fellow after all lol.
