This season has been trash. Best moment so far has been Diggle and Oliver's argument last episode.

It proves that the best of the show is with the core characters. Time to get rid of the fluff.

Also...Roy has uh, gotten a bit heavy.

I thought they missed an opportunity to reboot when Prometheus blew up that Island. They could have cut all the dead weight then by having Detective/Dep Mayor Lance, Renee, Thea, etc. die in the explosion leaving the core group available. Curtis doesn't bug me as much. Also, the whole attempted rehabilitation of Earth-? Laurel by Deputy Mayor Lance because she looks like their Laurel is ridiculous given the fact that she has killed or maimed at least a dozen people including cops since she showed up.

I know that a lot of people here, and elsewhere prefer the story to be focused on the original characters primarily, I disagree, but that's a matter of personal preference not to be argued over. IMO even if they did go that way and return the heavy spotlight to the characters that it use to be on, it wouldn't make the show any better because every single hero character is being being written very, very poorly now in order to further sub-par plots.

Take the Diggle-Oliver argument, great acting, way out of character behavior by both in order to serve a plot that wasn't thought out well enough to allow every character fit into it with logical, expected behaviors. It's like writing a script where Deadpool acts like Batman through a whole movie.

I think Rene is a good actor, I can see him playing well off Oliver, Lance, etc. Going rogue while the others want to be structured I think would lead to good plot lines.

Dinah can go.

Curtis can go.

Laurel is getting tiresome. Either make her a small villian like Captain Cold was to Flash or get rid of her...I agree that the Lance/Laurel plot is just stupid now.

Looks like Roy will be a regular in S7 according to reports. The actor looks out of shape so I'm curious what they'll do with the character...I do think it'll be interesting, since he left town (and escaped jail) after saying he was the Arrow.

Side note: I also prefer mini crossovers versus the huge production. How cool would it be for Supergirl and Arrow to be in a crossover? The Arrow and Flash crossovers were so well done and enjoyable.

Adrian returns!

Even in the middle of all this stuff going, he can just randomly appear for an episode and make everything better.

I actually thought it was him up until around the point after Oliver "killed" him. The whole time I was thinking he was Earth-2 Adrian sent by Laurel.

HUGE NEWS on Arrow.

One of their executive producers/co-showrunners is leaving. Marc Guggenheim (one of the big names behind the show) is taking a backseat on Arrow and Legends, will basically be a consultant. Arrow will be taken over by Beth Schwartz who was the co-executive producer.

This season she was one of the writers for episodes like the Nyssa/Thea/Roy episode, episode where Vince dies, Oliver/Felicitys reception episode.

Big episode last night!

Am I the only one who found it funny at the beginning when they were like "The People vs Oliver Jonas Queen" (People vs OJ lol).

Diaz hasn't really been a good villain. I liked Cayden way more as a villain. I think Diaz is better than Tobias Church last season, but that doesn't say much.

"TOMMY" RETURNS!

Was cool having him back, even if it's not really him. Just having the actor back on the show for now is great. In a single season we had Tommy as Prometheus AND Green Arrow. I wasn't expecting to see him at all in this episode or the crossover.

Yeah Diaz just isn't compelling.

I am surprised at how much I have the feels for Laurel. I expected to be far more annoyed at her but she's growing on me again.

It just seems as though they have to put Oliver at a complete position of weakness and vulnerability for Diaz to actually look "threatening" or bad.

Some news/somewhat spoilers from an interview Stephen Amell did talking about S6 finale/S7:

S6 finale titled "Life Sentence" is basically what the episode will be about

S6 won't end with a cliffhanger (you'll know where everyone stands, though that doesn't mean it in a good way)


From what I take from his S6 finale comments and knowing what's happening behind the scenes for S7, sounds like S7 could be taking the show in a new direction. Although a rumor I heard about what might happen sounds like one of those "jump the shark" moments.

They probably chose Batwoman because it looks like DC wont be using her anywhere else in their shows or movies. They probably didn't due Nightwing because Dick Grayson will be in the Titans show on DC's new streaming service. I think it is good for the show to start introducing characters from Batman's realm. Always opens the possibility to have a show based in the Batman universe later (especially since Gotham is ending next season).

They've already announced a prequel spinoff of that show focused on Alfred.

I forgot Dick Grayson was gonna be in Titans (which after a quick look, apparently he will be Nightwing, at least according to IMDB).

They should do Batwoman well, as long as certain aspects of her personal life aren't a huge plot device that almost starts to take away from the story itself, as they were with Alex in Supergirl.

Diaz is the most boring major villain the show has had, and he's the one who survives beyond the season finale!?

I hope they turn everything around in S7. Although, Oliver publicly telling everyone he's the green arrow definitely changes everything. Assuming Barry doesn't change anything. Or Sara for that matter. Losing both her dad and sister, while being on a time ship, they obviously will address this more on legends.

Is it sad that I never noticed until the season finale that the show has a producer named 'Speed Weed'. Not making it up, that's a true fact. Sounds like something you'd hear about on The Flash.
