Saw it this past week and this movie was absolutely excellent. Curious to see if more movies in this style get made.

Sony patented the animation system, so if there are more, it'll only be from them.

I guess other studios could create something similar

I don't know how I missed this movie when it was released, but we watched it as a family last night and absolutely incredible...favorite Spider Man of all time. One of the most creative and beautifully made movies I've seen in a long time. If you haven't seen it, do so.

This disc was reference material all the way around. When I'm able, I'll try and get my hands on the 3D version.

Spider-Man 2 is still my favorite of all time, but this was really, really good. Loved Nicolas Cage in this, too.

                  Re: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

After watching the new Spider-Man movie this past weekend, the wife and I followed it up by finally watching this movie. I am not big in to animated movies but this one was just wow! I absolutely loved it and it is definitely one of my fav spider-man movies of all time. The way the movie was done was tremendous and the music that was paired with it fit it perfectly. Hopefully they continue to make more of these.

Watching this again on Netflix and trying to spot as many easter eggs as possible. I'll update this post as I find more.

When he almost gets hit by the taxi right after getting his powers, there's some SCREEEECH word art under the tires (we already knew about the comic art words popping up throughout the movie, but this is the first time I saw that specific one because it's only up for about a second).

When he's trying to decide who to tell, his contacts include writers and artists from his comics, as well as other Spider-folk Cindy Moon and Jessica Drew.

All the Times Square ads. EA Sports Water Polo, Blake Griffin as a baseball player, the Yugo car is still a thing, Seth Rogen in Hold Your Horses: Riding High in the Saddle, a new Shaun of the Dead movie called From Dusk Til Shaun, Planet Inglewood, the Red Man Group, Snapchat is called Picaboo, an ad for real-life show Hi, Hello with Nick Kroll and John Mulaney, the New York Red Sox, a news ticker saying "Bitcoin hits new high!" followed immediately by "Bitcoin hits new low!"

When Spider-Ham is telling his origin, there's a bunch of boxes in the alley that say Fish Industries.

What is the word art an Easter egg for?

It just says SCREEECH like they would put in a comic book when a car slams on the brakes.
