Yeah it was awesome, pretty much the trailer nailed it how this movie was gonna go and it was a really fun time. Definitely a movie to bring the kids to. Great origin story and it was funny.

Never thought in my lifetime we would get a Shazam movie and thought this was going to be silly first time hearing about it but they made a memorable movie.

Really interesting where DC is going to go after this and how Billy is gonna be with the rest of the League because he's gonna be the heart of the team if he's part of it. He reminds me of what Spider-man is to the MCU.

I thought Zachary Levy was fantastic, guys a kid at heart and it showed. To be honest, the action wasn't that great, the villain was very generic but if the movie has heart it always climbs up top and makes it memorable. The family was great, loved the parents and the kids and the message of family in this movie.

DC is on a roll and now with WW, Aquaman and Shazam. They can't **** up the superstars of DC now, they have to nail it with Supes and Bats.

I am definitely excited to see this on Friday. After hearing all the rave reviews about it, just has me even more excited.

If they make him part of the League then they will more than likely do a reboot instead of going of the first League movie. It seems like WB is going to ignore that movie going forward, although I would still love to see Cavil as Superman in any future movies.

I also wanted to restate about bringing the kids, the age i'm thinking is over 10 maybe. There are some scary monsters and a violent scene with death but no blood. Also there's a cussing Santa but he's bleeped out, so that might shock some kids. I didn't remember any cussing.

Also there are two end credit scenes just like Marvel movies.

I am going to wait for like dvd to watch this. The movie just looks like crap to me and I can tell if I am going to like or not like a movie from trailers like 99% of the time. I am really surprised with the reviews thought this would be like a 40 on RT or something. There are so many big movies this year to that I dont want to waste money and time on a movie I will most likely not like.

Depends on who you are, I guess.

While most comic book origin stories have them discovering their powers for like ten minutes, this just lasts the entire film and leaves a lot of yuk-yuks along the way. The amount of levity in the superheroism aspect of the movie are joyous, and Billy's family provides a great charm factor to the film. You just enjoy how much fun it looks like everyone is having making it, kind of like the Ocean's films. Plus, I really like Mark Strong.

It's a movie meant to illicit reactions from your audience, and the better time they have will probably provide you a better overall experience as well. I guarantee if I only rented it, I wouldn't be nearly as into it. Let me put it to you this way: I'd rather pay $15 to see it in theaters one more time again with a crowd than I would to purchase the film to rewatch over and over myself. The experience I get with it is better earned that way (unless you have a bunch of people watching it at your house).

This isn't a great movie, but it's really great at what it does. None of the actors or moments go to waste, and it knew what it was going into it and never stopped wanting to be that. Part of it is how it plays on some comic book movie tropes and flips them on their heads. Those are always good.

For the record, I saw the trailer once and did not think much of it myself.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. The movie had a lot of heart and some good action scenes. Great ending.
