    Lost in Space (Netflix Series)

Not sure if this is independent thread worthy, but though this was an interesting trailer seen during the NCAA final game. A real throwback to a really campy series. Actually the original in black and white was slightly creepy to a kid.

But as things got colorized and the scripts got tired, it probably was one of the series that got closest to the original Batman series in camp. Of course, the robot is iconic along with the tag line. So, undoubtedly some people will not like this iteration. I'm looking forward to it myself and will give it a few episodes for sure.

First couple reviews sound, as most of Netflix's original stuff recently (outside of Marvel stuff), negative and "pointless reboot" territory.

Shame. Loved the first reboot as a kid.

Hmmm... the early reviews I'm reading are positive (8-1 on Rotten Tomatoes among some others), and of course there is always inconsistency in how much of the series they have actually seen.

From a sampling of reviews it seems obvious that this is not a hardcore, overly violent Sci-Fi adventure, leaning mostly on optimism, the family and a lot of action.

I love Molly Parker who seems a near perfect LIS actress counterpart to June Lockhart, but I wonder how the husband will play off her?

I will definitely give this a shot.
