I follow Funko, Funko Pop Hunters, Funkofinderz, and DisFunko. Also HotTopic for the exclusives.

You will get all the release info from those. There are generally more release dates now, but stuff can show up at anytime.

There are a bunch of online shops or comic book, etc shops selling online. Some kill you on shipping, some off 10-20% to basically cover shipping, Amazon usually destroys boxes. Search and check the reviews and then you should be fine purchasing.

Thanks for the info. That entertainment earth website seems to have a solid selection of ones up for preorder and all their dates are 2 months sooner then Amazon for what that's worth. It appears the next couple months are going to be super busy, loaded up the cart with damn near 50 preorders lol, ended up having to trim it way down as having a newborn isnt cheap. Only bummer part was that website didnt have the Cheers Woody preorder but had the rest.

Any other online retailer you can recommend?

Reddit is another good source to keep up.

Other than eBay the only retailers I have dealt with is Amazon, GameStop, and DeepDiscount.com. GameStop seems to release their pre-orders a little sooner than what they advertise for release dates. The deluxe hush Joker and Batman were both shipped early to me. I haven't dealt with pre-orders from Amazon yet (have all the new Batmans on pre-order and will probably pre-order the Ghostbusters and Simpsons, too), but buying older releases seems to be a crapshoot as far as box quality. I would only buy older releases if you can't find from other places or if Amazon is really, really cheap.

I stopped using DeepDiscount, however. I had a couple orders be canceled. First order was the original Power Rangers (well not the OG, but the second wave). Ordered them. Then they were on backorder. I checked on the order several times. After 6-8 weeks they canceled my order. I ended up using eBay for those I didn't get. Fast forward to the newest wave of Power Rangers. I pre-ordered all of them. Most of the order was canceled. I grabbed Zed from Amazon and didn't worry about the helmetless Rangers.

I have a few pre-ordered on Big Bad Toystore. The few things I’ve received from them have been good. And for a few extra bucks you can get guaranteed mint boxes, if desired.

Reddit is definitely good around conventions and for going back to posts for updates.

I've purchased from a few shops.
EE - they don't offer discounts, but also don't pay until it ships.
Circlecitytoys is a local shop in Indy and I didn't have any issues with them.
Nerdycollectibles has been good, but I have 1 pre-order that they haven't shipped and it was supposed to be arriving to them in early Feb and now they haven't responded to my email.
Gemini is a last resort, but they do put stuff on clearance but be prepared to pay higher prices and high shipping
Bigapplecollectibles is supposed to be ok, but prices are higher for non-common stuff.

I've gotten a lot off of Ebay after I started to complete the non-current collections I wanted. I used the now Funko app to look at the collections and decide if I wanted to get the available pops for that line. I would decide quickly if you are like me and want a full set or just individual ones. I have some individual ones, but mainly got the full sets for the ones I like.

Some I would like to have, but I don't want to pay the amount of $ it would take because there are too many or too rare. Use ebay and price trackers to see the cost and make your choices wisely before you spend way too much money. Definitely no Marvel sets for me will the # of them.

*Ebay tip, don't buy from China sellers as you will get fakes. I bought 2 that were supposed to be from the US, but seller was actually in China. Both were good fakes, but the box was slightly different and paint wasn't as great in a couple of spots. Main thing there was no Funko # on in-printed or stamped on the bottom of the box.

Bigapplecollectibles I have heard is ok as you mentioned but be prepared to wait a long time, they ship months later than most releases from what I've heard, I have never ordered from them personally though.

I ordered GITD Genie. It's amazing how much better the pops look now compared to the really early ones. I also ordered Prince Ali Aladdin and Abu as Elephant. This should round out the movie moment of Aladdin's wish I got from my brother.

OF course I went down the rabbit hole and peeked at some other Disney lines. I ended up pre-ordering Scuttle w/ fork because why the hell not along with Bartman and Radioactive Man. So much for keeping myself limited.

Can we talk about how terrible the Funko app is? It is fairly worthless to me in its current state.

Amazon sent me the First Appearance Batman yesterday. The box is junk so I'm going to switch it out, but it is a cool figure. The book, though, is ****ing sleek with the Batman 89 style trim and font.

Yeah at best I’ve had a 50% success rate with Amazon, either arrives nearly perfect or box is destroyed, they did step up their shipping methods big time on my most recent order which was 3 of their exclusives so hopefully that’s a sign of things to come.

All of the Aladdin ones I ordered came in nearly perfect. Elephant Abu looked perfect, but I only paid $5 for him so I'm not as picky. Heck one even came in a cardboard pop mailer.

I'm not even sure the damage came from shipping. One of the corners was torn and a couple creases.

I ordered chase off Amazon, got the regular version in a padded envelope and the box was so destroyed it was open.

Others have been fine, I think it depends on the seller and what type of protection they are paying for.
