Hailee Steinfeld is a good choice for this part.

      Re: Bumblebee (2018)

It's like The Shape of Water, heh.

This actually looks good. I mean I'm a sucker for seeing all of the Transformers films anyway, but this one could show some legitimate character that hasn't been seen since TF1.

And yes, Steinfeld is a good choice for the lead role. I loved her in The Edge of Seventeen.

Yeah I am pleasantly surprised by the trailer. It feels more down to earth for a transformers film which I like. At first I wasn't looking forward to the film but after seeing the trailer it has me interested to see more.

I enjoy the action of the other movies but they're throwaway. This has more potential.

Hopefully it won't be that creepy.

I second The Edge of 17.

I like that he's in his G1 form!

This looks like it has a lot more heart to it. The dynamic of it kinda reminds me of the first Short Circuit movie to be honest with you but hey, that's a step up over the Michael Bay crap.

New trailer - really like seeing the G1 appearances. I was done with the Bayformers after really disliking the 4th one, but I might have to check this out. My kids are getting old enough to be into them, so I hope they tone down some of the teenage boy humor that Bay put in his movies.

I have to say, that new trailer looked really good. Gave me good vibes, reminds me of the first one, which i really liked a lot. The rest of the movies in the franchise have gotten worst as they went on imo. This looks good though. Might catch this when it hits DVD.

                    Going to see this tomorrow.

Wasn’t interested at all when it was first announced but I keep reading/hearing it’s way better than any of the Transformers movies, so I’ll give it a shot.

Finished my Christmas shopping early so went to see it. I wish they had started the franchise with this type of movie instead of Bayformers. Some good throwbacks to Generation 1. Feels like a movie that was made in the 80’s (w/2018 special effects). Much more enjoyable without all of the teenage boy humor of the Bay movies. Recommend it for any Transformers fans.

Agreed. They just need to make this the new starting point and forget the earlier movies. Really glad I went to see it.

As an 80s kid who was obsessed with Transformers as a kid, I love how much more recognizable they were in this.

This movie had so much potential. I was here for Transformers not the main character.

I enjoyed the movie. Very simplistic movie to get back to the basics. I would agree with Shiz that the movie was focused more on the girl than the robot but I liked it nonetheless.

Loved also how relatively clean it was. Cursing was very minimal, no sexual stuff...

                            2 thumbs up from me.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Although I said that, man this has potential. If they go where I think they're going if there's a sequel, I'll be there day 1.
