After Inside Out 2 came out, I sat and thought about what Pixar originals I'd most want to see sequels to.

Honestly, even though it's my least favorite Pixar film, I'd probably vote for Brave.

EDIT: By the way, WALL-E is my favorite Pixar film.

On that note, I know they did a "prequel" but I'd also like seeing a sequel to Monsters Inc. Like what happened after everything went down in the original. It would be a comedy since the monsters now try making kids laugh instead of scare them. Maybe they bring back "boo" somehow too.

And for all the toy story sequels, that one would be cool for a prequel if they go the route of Andy's toys belonging to his (dead) dad as a kid who passed it on to Andy and he eventually died.

Even the Incredibles, though they did mention the "supers" life before they had to "go in to hiding", it would be cool having a movie about all of them during that time too.


Nobody suggest a prequel of UP though. That scene/montage was sad enough!

I am really looking forward to this.....but I was laughing with Denzil.....we got a New Yorker in a Roman Epic movie.....literally.

Alien: Romulus will be here in August.

I am avoiding all spoilers and crazed fans who love nothing more than to whine about how nothing will ever be better than Alien and Aliens.

Yes we all know this. But that does not mean we can't enjoy a new Aliens film with a fresh young cast in a new scenario. Here we are between Alien and Aliens on the space station Romulus and I am getting Alien Isolation vibes galore.

I loved Ridley's prequels and am so sad there will not be a conclusion to Prometheus and Alien Covenant (both films being really good IMO).

I heard the sequel to Alien Covenant got scrapped after the film did not do that well.

That sucks.

Doing a quick lookup of "Are these sequels coming?" I can see that Happy Death Day 3 and Now You See Me 3 seem to have their balls rolling, proverbially of course.

No sign of The Italian Job 2 sadly, but as I searched for that it seems that Mark Wahlberg is calling his next film (from Shane Black) a cross between Italian Job and Heat.

Also, Whiplash is receiving a 10th anniversary theatrical re-release on September 20th.

Nobody 2 is currently in production right now in Winnipeg. Stephen King’s The Long Walk is also currently in production. Also happening in Winnipeg.
Keep an eye out for these two!

Although I'm going to try and avoid it (and all other marketing), I'm genuinely hoping they save their money shots for the actual movie itself.

I heard that some folks who saw M:I 7 in IMAX got a BTS featurette on motorcycle jump. That's absolutely dreadful marketing. I'm glad that didn't happen in my theater.

Can't wait for this one.

Mufasa comes out next month.

As good as the live action/CGI lion king movie was, it's obviously hard to compare to the animated one with one of the all time soundtracks.

The Mufasa one will be cool to see a new story and you get to see his backstory and most likely showing him and Scar growing up, I imagine the ending of this movie probably ends right before the lion King begins with Simba being born.

I just saw Transformers One, so I will be doing a form of a direct comparison there and hold Mufasa to high expectations of showing the downfall of Mufasa and Scar's relationship.
