    - Feeling like you have to get your money's worth to finish the movie

I'm not saying you should have. After all, I haven't seen the film. I'm just saying that with that luxury you have, anybody else could do that at any time, and it's just too darn bad.
During this time of no theaters, I realized that for me personally none of that ancillary stuff means anything to me anymore. The actual content of the film is all that I care about now. I am actually more locked in at home watching movies than in the theater.

I'll watch this tomorrow, but IMO it's better that a person can just turn off a film that they aren't enjoying, rather than them staying in the theater feeling like they're being held hostage to a certain and extent which probably exacerbates their negative feelings about the movie. Being able to just shut if off, and just moving on to something else that they want to watch is a good thing, IMO.

Edit: the statement above supports my thought process to a T.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Wife and I went to see this today in the theaters today. We both enjoyed it. For me, I thought the first one was better but this one was still good. If you are fan of DC or Wonder Woman then I recommend seeing it.

Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but it didn't have any redeeming features to me through the first hour 45. I decided that I could continue to not enjoy it for another 45 minutes or go walk my dog. I chose the ladder.

It's tanked on reviews since it's release yesterday, but it still has an overall positive score. So most people will probably enjoy it. Just wasn't for me.

I kind of felt the same way. Not sure if it's because I was super tired when watching it but I just never got into it like the first one. It wasn't bad but not on the level I was expecting it to be for sure. Could have been I hyped it up too much with the long wait but it just felt like something was missing. I'm very easy to please too so there is that. My 14 year old son who basically loves every superhero movie made also felt the same way.

              Re: Wonder Woman 2 (2019)

I get that this is one of the lesser issues of the many that this film has but, did it irk anyone else that whenever WW was running or flying, her hair pretty much laid down flat relative to the wind speed? She was backstroke flying at one point and her hair was hanging down all limp as opposed to whipping all around like it would in reality at that speed and altitude.

One other thing. Cheetah. How exactly did Barbara become Cheetah? I mean that with regard to the feline characteristics. I get that she wished to become a number one, unique, special snowflake apex predator but Lord had to grant that wish by taking something from someone else. So was there like, a furry cheetah person who happened to be watching TV at the time that made a wish so that he could give their cheetah-ness to Barbara? It was so random. One second she was a normal looking woman and in her very next scene she was covered in fur with a tail.

The first movie I loved and have watched like 10+ times. This movie I saw last night in a drive in theater being that regular theaters are all closed here in ca. I am so disappointed. The villains where lame way less interesting than the first movie and the story was not that good. The first like 50 minutes were pretty boring and the movie has hardly any action at all.

Even more nazi's couldnt have fixed this movie. They should have just thrown in all her main enemies like the animated dc movies or new spiderman
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
                    Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
                    Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

                    Captain Tenneal: Get it on!

                      Re: Wonder Woman 2 (2019)

When I finished the movie, I knew this one would have some mixed opinions. It's...different.

I enjoyed it. It had some quirky moments and had some legit 'feels' to it. I like that the main villain wasn't the standard fare of "evil supervillain" or "invading alien" but was rather a flawed figure. Even the central plot was a bit unusual for this type of movie - but was, in a sense, something I think we could all relate to.

That said, this movie is a bit like Suicide Squad for me. I watched it once and enjoyed it...but haven't revisited it since then. I don't really think I'll watch this one again for a long while either (even with the Gadot-factor).

One other random thought....this felt like an old-school 1980s movie...not because it occurred 80s...but something about about the plot, characters, the general vibe of WW1984 had me wanting to watch the old Christopher Reeves Superman flicks.

I like this take, I feel similarly. I love the characters, I like the villains in this one a lot more than in the first one especially in terms of the performances of the actors. The plot was the weak link IMO which has been the case with most of the DC movies. All the exact same character with a different screenplay could have produced a masterpiece, IMO. I know though that not all blockbuster superhero films going forward aren't going to be written with me as the primary target audience and that's cool.

My thoughts kind of summed up - a lot of great actors turning in great performances in what is otherwise a mediocre and disappointing follow-up to a very good movie.

Really? I thought the villians in the first movie where like a million times better and some of the acting in this movie was like soap bad.
